Horrible, I will never stay at this hotel again

I will never stay at this hotel ever again! worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I made sure to call in advance to see if I could bring in balloons for a little birthday we were having for my daughter. I was told it was fine. I asked if we could check in early. I was told it was ok. I even called again the morning of our check in to make sure an early check in was still ok, and I was told yes. I get to the hotel I am told no balloons. I had a bunch of things, there was no available cart. I went to check in, no rooms available and a very long wait. My daughter’s party guests arrived and we were still sitting in the lobby with a bunch of things and no cart. The next day, the kids wanted to go swimming. The pool was closed for maintenance until 10. There were no towels. They had to wait a very long time to finally get some. I also called in for shower towels in the morning. They never came. This was the worst stay. I will be contacting corporate.

Got a 2 bedroom for my niece and her son as a treat. My niece found a moldy glass in the closet of her son’s room and what appeared to be a “roach” in the bed sheets. The maid “claimed” it was a cricket (NOT). Also, they force you into valet parking ($35/day or $45/day for oversized) - the public parking in the garage literally attached to the hotel is $18 every 8 hours. Had thought about future stays but now not so sure.

No room service and you have to request it. No bath towels, no even toilet paper ready and you have to request it. It is like Days Inn but charge as Hilton.

The hotel is a beautiful one. I was, however, disappointed in the alertness and responds of the staff. We struggled with getting towels and other needs met. One even tried to get after me and my daughter when throwing something away. It was a bizarre interaction. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the breakfast. They really do a great job in providing breakfast and options for all. Lastly, parking was a nightmare. You either pay an expensive amount for valet parking or have to park in a public lot next door and have to unsafely walk up and down a ramp to get to your car. This beautiful hotel could be a five star with some small but necessary shifts!
