Important Note About North Cascades National Park:
We are a short 11 minute drive to the North Cascades National Park! During the winter (typically end of November/early December through April/May) part of Highway 20 and driving access to the park are closed. You are still able to get to our Cabin using Highway 20 as that section is open all year round, but you are unable to access the park. You are, however, able to drive to the entrance, park and snow shoe in if you'd like.
The part of Highway 20 that is closed is on the west side at milepost 134 at the Ross Dam Trailhead and on the east side, at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, near Mazama.
An alternative hiking destination for the winter months is the Rockport State Park which is only a 4 minute drive from the cabin. You are able to purchase a day pass on your phone once you arrive.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
As the cabin is located in a remote, secluded area, keep in mind that there are friendly neighborhood dogs that you may see around or may pop by and say hello!
It isn't often, but there could be occasional wifi outages due to weather-related reasons. We try our best to monitor these outages, and give our guests a heads up!

From the very first message, our host has been thoughtful and informative. Our instructions to get to the place included pictures and good explanations of how to get to the cabin. The hot tub was already warm and the heat was on when we got there and there was a sweet welcome note. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and cooking utensils and The kitchen was very well labeled so that we could find things easily. The piece of property was beautiful and private with good walkways and a cute little walk up to the waterfall. The whole place was put together to feel cozy. It even had an outlet close to the front porch parking that allowed us to plug in our EV and have peace of mind that we would have enough charge to get home. The checkout process was simple and stress-free with fewer steps than we have had at other Vrbo stays. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future!

The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and communicative. They made sure my stay was extra comfy, and made sure I had everything I needed and more! The property is BEAUTIFUL, as well as the home. This was a lovely birthday getaway. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. It was such a magical experience to be able to sit in the hot tub, listening to the rain on the roof of the gazebo. The waterfall was cute, but make sure you pack proper shoes if go in the rain! The wood stove is also amazing and I loved the ambience. I can't fangirl about this place enough. Sheila and and Victor were incredible hosts and offered help with figuring out things around the property, any time I asked. They are phenomenal.

This home was absolutely perfect. Amazing setting, the property is beautiful. The private waterfall, and the one down the street were excellent. The amenities were wonderful. Beautiful and easy drive to the North Cascades. I cannot recommend this home enough.
This was an excellent property. It was quiet and secluded just as advertised. The hot tub was so clean, they even have sandals for you to walk down to the hot tub. There is a trail leading to a waterfall that is one of the prettiest trails we took on out trip. The host had a book that had information on everything in the cabin and of all the dining and hiking in the surrounding area. Wonderful stay!

Beautiful setting! Loved the waterfall. Close to the National park entrance (take water & snacks! No concessions in the park). There were 4 adults. The kitchen is well stocked, loved the fire pit, firewood & the s’mores kit provided. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are tight, but that was fine, we spent a lot of time outside or hiking. Sheila was very responsive and clearly puts a lot of thought into making it a great stay for guests. We would come back!

The home was perfect for us to relax and recover after a long day of hiking the cascades. I was most surprised that the house was so close to the Cascades allowed us to have quick access for our second day of hiking. On the trail early and only saw one other set of people. My favorite was relaxing the muscles in the hot tub. Followed closely by the rustic fun uniqueness and location of the house.

The property itself was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The location was perfect to visit North Cascades. The primary issue we had was that we had a washer listed when we rented and there was no washing machine or dryer. As a sidenote, the downstairs bathroom sink does not function or drain. We were brushing our teeth and washing our face in the kitchen sink.

Great Base of Operations for National Park
Clean, quiet, and well organized property. Lots of little extra touches made it a nice place to stay. Very peaceful and secluded with a waterfall just a short walk away. The sound of the stream flowing was meditative. It was a slightly brisk morning so we jumped in the hot tub before setting out to explore Northern Cascades National Park. Host was very responsive and you can tell she likes sharing the cabin. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Great cabin in the woods
This was a great place to stay! Cute, comfortable and clean! Location is just outside the North Cascades National Park but feels very secluded. We loved discovering the private waterfall up the trail in the backyard! And the hosts have truly thought of everything! Forgot your toothbrush? In the bathroom. Separate towels for the bathroom and the awesome hot tub? Check! S’mores supplies and firewood for the fire pit outside? Yep! Want to make coffee just how you like it? Here’s four different coffee makers so you can choose your favorite method. Want to keep your feet clean walking from the house to the outdoor hot tub? Just use the water sandals in a variety of sizes kept out on the deck. The hot tub was great to soak in after a day of hiking and we enjoyed a fire (and those s’mores) one night as well. It was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip in Washington!
