Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
The accommodation looks small in the pictures, but it actually feels even smaller. With two suitcases, there's no room to put them down. But that wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't smelled so intensely of old smoke. The landlords did try to make improvements but the smell was only masked with a room spray. The problem probably comes from the bar in the middle of the property, which you can see directly from the bathroom window. The smoke from the guests sitting there and smoking is drawn into the accommodation. You should also be aware that the bar is open all week and is very busy until 3am, making it very noisy. In the morning there is also a lot of noise because drinks are delivered and the cleaning staff are not very quiet. The inner courtyard echoes accordingly. No mention of this in the description of the accommodation. Another problem is that there are no proper windows. There is a door from the bedroom to an inner courtyard, but you can't leave it open at night. There is only a tiny window next to it, through which there is hardly any fresh air. And apart from the fact that you can't leave the bathroom window open to sleep, it's also very small, so the air is stagnant in the room. There is simply no proper description of the accommodation. But apart from that, the smell of smoke in the room is a no-go. Also the cleanliness left much to be desired. On all tile edges was old dirt. The cable from the TV which was roughing at the bottom was full of plaster that crumb
