These rooms are essentially little cabins with fireplaces- and terraces! The restaurant is beautiful and the onsite hikes to the river are absolutely gorgeous. The little coffee ‘shop’ staff are a gem. This was a one night stop for us on a road trip but we were so glad we stayed!

The cabin is on the rustic side with older tub and shower but clean and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Very roomy sitting area with sofa and a small table and chairs. There’s also a patio. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great meal in the dining room and the coffee at the expresso bar was excellent.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location and amenities made for an enjoyable experience. One suggestion would be to add a playground for children, which would make the property even more family-friendly. It would also be great to see the hot tub brought back, as that would be a wonderful amenity for guests to relax and enjoy after a day of exploring Alaska. Overall, a very positive experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

Awesome property perched above the beautiful river. Our room had a wood burning stove and back porch, which we enjoyed. It was also really nice that the lodge offered a shuttle that would drive down the steep path that leads to the river bank near the lodge to give you a ride back up if needed, which a few people in my party really appreciated. We did not eat on property but they have a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Kenai Princess was not as overwhelmed by cruise passengers as the other Princess lodges e stayed at. This lodge is more upscale and we enjoyed our stay. But I would avoid it in peak cruise season. These lodges are highly optimized for cruise passengers and not if you are traveling on your own

The staff was new but friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful location. The rooms were clean but we would rather have a fridge than a TV. We had a discounted rate through Hotels.com. For the rate we paid the room was a good value. Even considering that this is a prime Alaska location the direct booking rate is overpriced. We did enjoy the bar, the deck and the breakfast.
