First the good: the apt is a terrific location and the price for the location and quality is fantastic especially for middle of summer. Kitchen is supplied with everything you’d need for a short or even longer stay. Nice to see a couple of umbrellas for the frequent rains but one of them was almost unusable. Beds were the most comfortable we’ve had almost anywhere. Absolutely dreamy. Apartment is light and spacious and comfortable with a couple exceptions. Now for the bad: the apt is very light which is great mostly unless you want to sleep past 7:30-8am because there are no black out blinds so the Scandinavian summer sun WILL wake you up every morning and forbid you to go back to sleep. The apt looks exactly like the pics online except both the couches are absolutely disgusting. They are horribly stained with god knows what. And they look like old stains on top of even older stains so I don’t know why Sanders isn’t taking the time to do a simple upholstery shampoo to clean them or simply replace them. They are atrocious. Didn’t really want to sit on them because of that. Toilet seat was broken and kept sliding off underneath you.
Aside from those two things this place is the perfect vacation spot and you can’t really get a better location. Walking distance to so many attractions and about 20 restaurants right outside the door to the street right on Nyhavn.
