We found the villa easy to locate, and Antonio and Anna, the host's parents, were there to welcome us on arrival. They are genuinely lovely people who couldn't have been more kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay.The villa is very spacious, with a larger-than-average pool featuring safe Roman steps for easy access. The wraparound gardens, long private driveway, and multiple outdoor seating areas make it a peaceful and secluded place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need, and there's also a large BBQ outside.A car is essential, although Antonio and Anna also run a taxi service, which we used on a couple of evenings. For five people (requiring two cars), we paid 60 return to Lecce, around 15-20 minutes away, which we felt was excellent value.The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were modern, and the showers had excellent water pressure. Francesca was always available via WhatsApp and responded promptly whenever we had a question.There was very little to fault. If we were to suggest improvements, a larger or second fridge-freezer would be useful, particularly for larger groups. Also, while there were four sunbeds, only two were of the newer, sturdier style; replacing the other two to match would be a welcome upgrade. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
