Con nuestra casa en pleno corazón de la judería y a unos 100m de la Mezquita, les proponemos vivir toda una experiencia: pasar unos días en una casa cordobesa real, con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la ciudad como si viviera en ella. Nos hemos preocupado de que tanto la decoración como el trato con nosotros, transmita comodidad y cercanía. La terraza, que cuidamos con esmero, es el lugar ideal para reposar y disfrutar con bonitas vistas de la Judería, rodeado de plantas y flores.
Nuestra casa, equipada para 4-6 personas, cuenta con todas las comodidades. Dispone dedos baños completos, dos dormitorios (uno con cama de matrimonio y el otro con dos camas individuales), un salón con sofá cama de matrimonio y un comedor y cocina equipada. Además de calefacción y aire acondicionado y otras comodidades.

This was a very clean apartment, and very close to The Mezquita, shops, and restaurants. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the evening, watching the moon overhead and enjoying the many beautiful plants.This is definitely NOT a good choice for anyone who has mobility issues! The bedrooms are on the second floor, up a very narrow staircase, and the terrace and laundry are on the third floor, up another narrow, winding set of metal stairs. There is a tiny bathroom with shower on the first floor, and a larger bathroom with shower on the second floor.That said, this is a lovingly cared for apartment in a very convenient location for an excellent price. Thank you for your hospitality, Joaquina!

Beautiful home, Juaquoina was so so helpful, lovely. Met us to tour the home, answered messges and questions always and even helped arrange a taxi for us to leave. The home was beautiful and clean, amazing neighbourhood. The kitchen was lacking a few tools but easy to get all you needed cooked. And she also provided Nespresso pods!!!

Lovely terrace

The flat was exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. We love to be outside and spent a great deal of time on the rooftop terrace. Great views, very comfortable, but spotty wifi. As other have noted, those with mobility issues would find this place challenging. We however loved it. The location is excellent-close to almost everything one would want to do. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful place

In the thick of the old town of Cordoba, on a quiet side alley. Close to everything. Charming multi level appartment with beautifull terrace. Our family of 5 was quite comfortable and simply loved the layout of the appartment

owner poo-pooed unhealthy and unacceptable amount of mold in bathroom. said i over reacted. said there were other bedrooms to sleep in if the small amount of mold in one of the bedrooms was a problem. what kind of host says this? takes days to communicate.

Very central, ideal location and the apartment is charming. Caution with the stairs which are steep and narrow especially with luggage. Not for anyone large, elderly or infirm. I’m 65 and average fitness and it was doable for me. There is some mold on the wall in the upstairs bathroom. The apartment is charming but a bit funky. The roof terrace is beautiful and there is no car traffic on the streets nearby. We had a nice stay, but the stairs could be a big impediment for some people. You have to use them to get to the bedrooms.

Great location. Minimal charm

The location is awesome. Good restaurants out the door and so close to the sites. It's very spartan otherwise. We didn't realize we needed to make up our beds till we fell into them at midnight, so be prepared. But overall a fine bargain.

Awesome location and beautful property. Host was very welcoming. Less mobile folks might want to be aware that there are a lot of stairs--almost for every room. Not an issue for us. Super terrace on top with great views and breezes.

Staying at Joaquina's place you get to experience the heart of Old Cordoba. She is a gracious host. A great location. Only if you have mobility issues, this rental is not the place for you. There are quite a few stairs.

A base in Cordoba

The house is in a perfect position for everything . It is absolutely lovely ( not to be recommended for those with serious mobility problems - though my sister in law had had two new hips within the past year and coped !!) We had croissants and coffee on the lovely terrace in the morning, and air conditioning in the bedrooms made the nights very tolerable ( we were there on the hottest day in April ever recorded in Spain!!) Mobility issues permitting we’d go back - we’d certainly go back to Cordoba .

3 story apartment in a good location

Cozy, 3 story apartment not for anyone with mobility problems. Apartment door is directly on a side street with lots of foot traffic and motor bikes, but quieted down by late evening and 12A on Friday night. 1st floor has a small dark living room with dining table at one end, kitchen and 1 bathroom on 1st floor. Kitchen with basic items, would like to see wine glasses added. Then walk up a narrow set of stairs to 2 small bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom at end of hall. Then walk up another set of narrow stairs to the 3rd floor open air rooftop deck. The washer/dryer is also on the 3rd floor. We were there in February and the apartment is not heated, it has some space heaters but it was pretty cold inside. The location is very convenient just on the outskirts of the Jewish quarter with restaurants and bars outside the door and short walk to historic sites. We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.

Great location

The host spoke no English and we spoke very little Spanish. The host forgot we were coming and it was difficult to get in touch. When we finally did, after trying for over 2 hours, they did a good job of coming over to open the house up and clean it from the last renters. Many stairs into almost all of the rooms.

Location!

The apartment is over 3 floors, all are yours. You enter right from the quiet street. The sitting room & dining room are when you first enter. They are small & comfortable. The kitchen is up a step from there as is the 1st bathroom. The kitchen is small as, but has the necessities. Up a flight of very secure stairs to the 2 bedrooms, each with their own 2 steps and the bathroom, up one high step. The bedrooms are spacious & cool, the beds are very comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms & in the sitting room work great, but we just kept the house dark during the day & didn't need much AC. Then there's the last set of steps to the gorgeous terrace. It is roomy & comfortable. There is a sink & coffee maker up there, no fridge, which would have made it perfect. I mention all the stairs because I injured my knee in Sevilla on very treacherous stairs. Under normal conditions I would have been unfazed by all of them, but instead it was a burden. We were in Cordoba for the Festival de los Patios. It is an amazing experience. 5 different routes throughout the city to see homeowners private courtyards "patios". They are all gorgeous & I appreciate the different routes take you outside the center to experience more of Cordoba. We had a guide planned who was going to give us a 3 hour historical tour of the center including the Mezquita, once I was injured we knew we would be unable to do the tour, so instead he gave us an amazing tour of the Mezquita & pushed me in a wheelchair. He also made recommendations of places to visit outside the center. I doubt we would have gone that far if not for his recommendation & the taxi drivers. His name is Angel. I found him on a Rick Steves forum. We loved Plaza de las Tendillas so much. Beautiful. Full of life. Great restaurant/bar choices. We also visited the market at Plaza de la Corredera. We had a delicious breakfast there & another night, a great pizza. I wish I had been able to walk all of the routes & spent more time in the Juderia as Joaquina's place is in the best location. Just a stone's throw to everything in the historical center. God bless Joaquina. She even offered to make up the fold out couch in the sitting room so I wouldn't have to do the stairs. She really is a dear & patient host. But we moved on to Cadiz. I recommend Cordoba and Joaquina's home. All of Southern Spain is like Disneyland. Beauty around every turn. PS If you go up the street and look left, great terrace, full of life!

We loved our stay at this little house. It is within walking distance of all the sights. It was a great neighbourhood of wonderful restaurants and bars. The house is well equipped and the roof top patio is wonderful. We really enjoyed our time in Cordoba and would stay here again.

Chillin' in Cordoba!

This wonderful row house is perched in the middle of old town close to restaurants, tapa bars, and all historic attractions. You can walk to the Mosque/Cathedral in minutes! Overnight parking is a 5-minute walk away and very accessible by foot. We travelled with another couple and found lots of room in this casa, which very well appointed, extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The highlight of the property was the quiet setting, proximity to all the sites, and the roof-top terrace. The terrace was decorated with beautiful plants, very spacious, and a great place to unwind after a long day or have your morning coffee. The owner, was very gracious, communicated very well, and left us with everything we needed for a great stay. We would certainly recommend this Casa and would stay again upon a return visit!

Great Stay in Cordoba

This property is well located within short walking distance of several good restaurants all the major Cordoba sites. It was just as described on the VRBO website and was clean and well-equipped . We particularly enjoyed the rooftop patio. Communications with the owner were easy and helpful. We had high expectations for our stay in Cordoba and they were exceeded, with this property being one of the many reasons.

This apartment is within walking distance to all of the sights of Cordoba. The apartment has an amazing terrace on which to relax and enjoy the flowers. We stayed during a festival, so the streets were bustling with excitement and we were close to the festivities. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to travelers visiting Cordoba.

Amazing roof deck!

This little house is in the best location in the Old Town, to the East of the Mezquita. The house itself is on two levels, with two bedrooms with comfy mattress and pillows, and a standing shower in the bathroom. It's very comfortable, but what sets it apart is the most remarkable roof deck. The photos just don't do it justice! There are no tall buildings in the Old Town, so the view is mostly down the tiny street and onto the neighboring roofs and a whole other world of local living not visible from the street level. You just have to experience it. Additionally, Joaquina was a warm and caring host, offering to check us in early due to an early arrival. Her English is limited, but she was very effective at explaining everything to us, walking me by the hand around the house like a kindly aunt. We loved staying in this house!
