we absolutely loved our first stay at lido sofia couldnt fault anything about our stay rooms are clean and everything we needed and the balcony views are breathtaking,the pool area was amazing with fantastic views and our hosts george and sofia are amazing and so friendly even the housemaid was a credit to the hotel,the food although not a massive menu was top class,the walk to the town and resturants was a 10-15 minute walk downhill but not to bad the walk up is a bit tougher but not to bad maybe if you are elderly it would be advisable to get a taxi up but we didnt need to.overall we loved our hotel and holiday and will definatly be returning

Wonderful apartments

Unbelievable accommodation and beautiful resort. Lido Sofia completely exceeded our expectations. The photos clearly show a good view and seemed clean and tidy but it was so much more than that. The one bedroom apartment was really spacious with a double balcony overlooking the sea with an outstanding view. It was clean and serviced every other day with beds made etc. The pool was great. Never packed despite being August and you could swim late into the evening (kids were often dragged away well after 10pm) Food was nice if not wanting to go out and large portions and ultimately everyone was really friendly, even giving our children a free ice cream after being stung by a wasp (which were around across Corfu but not a problem). The only thing to bear in mind is the steep walk back from the village centre/beach as it would challenge if very unfit or if someone has movility issues. I've travelled the world twice and genuinely for this budget have not stayed anywhere with such a beautiful uninterupted view of the coast/beach/sunset. Overall a wonderful stay and we will return. I cant recommend highly enough.

october break

we stayed here in a studio 20 oct for a week and had a lovely time. The apartment is on a steep hill but it only took 5/10 mins to get down to the main town which was quiet due to the time of year but we loved it. The weather was nice ( a couple of cloudy days) The staff were very friendly. The drinks at the bar were cheap. We ate out all the time so cant comment on the food. Lots of cats around which didn't bother us and also lots of wasps but i think this was the time of year also.We were on the first floor with a beautiful view of the beach. Request higher floor.
