Villa Cleopatra is a traditional Corfiot detached property, located in Poulades village, just 11 km away from Corfu Town and the airport of Corfu.
It is set in extensive and nicely kept grounds, full of fruit trees and flowers. It is an ideal and spacious villa for a family or party of 8, with facilities for an extra person, in an unspoiled countryside of Middle Corfu.
The property benefits from a huge swimming pool with a side beautiful pergola for dining al fresco.
Layout
Villa Cleopatra is set at two levels: The ground floor with a modern, well-equipped open plan kitchen, a huge dining and lounge area, a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and two twins with a shower/wc in between.
The lower level consists of a double bedroom with a shower room and a locker for maintenance.
Entering the property's grounds a driveway is leading to a private parking and to the main entrance.
On the outside of the villa, the nicely decorated terrace and the huge swimming pool at the front, with the aside BBQ and the al fresco dining area are promising memorable moments in the silence of the countryside.

First time in Corfu

For our first time in Corfu, Villa Cleopatra was excellent!Nice house, very spacious, nice grounds and very clean and maintained. The house is perfect for entertaining groups of family and friends. The island is lovely!We would recommend it , thank you!

Villa Cleopatra

The peaceful and quiet neighbourhood was just what we were looking for on our holiday. The house is very comfortable, spacious and the grounds are very nice but will benefit from uplifting the interiors of the living area. The lower ground level bedroom has some humidity problems, no doubt, but it is still usable. It needs regular ventilation. The pool is a good-sized swimming pool and provided great entertainment for the kids. We had a lovely time in Villa Cleopatra and will not hesitate to go there again.

Beautiful homely villa

This is a beautiful villa that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The shady area by the pool is large and works perfectly on hot days and we loved the lounging area under the porch area for drinking and playing cards ect.If I was to change anything I would just have a bigger table outside,it was a bit tight for 7 and the basement although has lots of character and double doors on to a court yard just needs a bit of extra care to bring it up to the standard of the other 3 rooms which are lovely.Its missing mirrors, bedspreads lamps with shades ect.It is a rual location with no local shop.Nearest shop is the supermarket on the main road 8 mins?.Corfu town was easy to get to by car 15min? and Gouvia is a very pretty beach off the main road.we hired a boat from here to do the north east coast which is definitely the best way to see the island.overall the villa is clean and comfortable and we had a wonderful stay.

Great stay!

We had a very good time in villa Cleopatra. We were there with 2 young children and it was the ideal base for us to relax and going out. The outdoor area is well-kept and there is enough furniture available. The living room and kitchen were spacious and equipped. We have been in low season and that's why it was really worth our money.

Lovely quiet villa in the countryside

We found the villa easily thanks to the very good instructions. The villa was very comfortable for the 7 of us, and we enjoyed the pool very much. It was easy to get to the supermarket for food.

Great villa with nice pool in pure nature

We had a great stay for 2 weeks in this well equipped villa. The pool is great and large and has sun view all day long. The property is in pure nature in a big garden with olive trees. It is also close to Gouvia and with a short drive you are in the middle of Corfu town.

Erholsamer Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen

Das Haus war von innen recht sauber, bis auf ein paar Spinnenweben an den Treppen und an einem Fenster weit oben. Es wird sogar zweimal wöchentlich geputzt und neue Handtücher bereit gestellt. Das Personal war stets freundlich und rücksichtsvoll. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt! Der Boden und manche Möbel sehen schon etwas abgewohnt aus, der Dielenboden knarzt stellenweise extrem, was ein leises Aufstehen bei mehreren Leuten erschwert. Die Außenanlage könnte gepflegter sein. Sämtliche Kissenauflagen sahen nicht sehr schön aus, Stockflecken und andere Flecken. Wer eine Spinnenphobie hat, dem rate ich allgemein von der Insel ab. Jeden Tag haben wir mehrere lebende und tote nicht gerade kleine Spinnen aus dem Pool gefischt. Dieser ist jeden Tag schnell verschmutzt. Da wäre eine tägliche Reinigung definitiv angebracht. Das dort genau die Flugzeuge drüber fliegen, hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Ansonsten ist man schon recht abgelegen, ein Auto wird unbedingt benötigt. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt schön, wenn man über manches hinweg sehen kann.

Maison et espaces extérieurs appréciables

Nous avons loué la Villa Cleopatra à 7 personnes au début du mois de Juillet. La communication en amont du voyage était très bonne et nous n’avons pas eu de mal à trouver la maison. La maison est agréable et grande, la climatisation dans chaque chambre a été appréciée ! Les espaces extérieur parking couvert + terrace couverte + barbecue + piscine + espace jeu près de la piscine sont très agréable et c’est là bas que nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps.

Eine schöne Zeit unter Olivenbäumen

Wir haben das große Grundstück mit dem schönen Pool und dem tollen Haus sehr genossen. Von dem Einsatz der Reinigungskräfte 2 x die Woche waren wir begeistert. Auch unseren Kindern hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!

Super Ruhig und voll ausgestattet

Vorab soviel: Wer direkt am Strand sein oder direkten Meerblick haben möchte, sollte eine andere Villa aussuchen. Hier muss mann mind. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zum nächsten Strand (Auto ist unbedingt notwendig). Für alle anderen kann ich die Villa sehr empfehlen. Großzügiger Garten, schöner Pool, große Terrasse und sehr viel Platz in allen Räumen lässt es sich hier sehr gut entspannen. Es fehlte an nichts. Sogar Netflix ist da. Die Küche ist für mindestens 8 oder mehr Personen voll ausgestattet. Drei Schlafzimmer sind im Hochpatere, eines unten. Alle mit Klima ausgestattet. Die beiden hinteren Schlafzimmer (oben und unten) sind zusätzlich mit begehbarem Kleiderraum und eigener Dusche und Toilette ausgestattet. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist mit einer Badewanne ausgestattet. Aber wer braucht das schon im Sommer auf einer Insel :-) Auf Grund der Corona-Pandemie und da wir die ersten Gäste in 2020 waren, kann ich nichts zu der Reinigung sagen (es war sehr sauber bei der Ankunft), da das Haus nur vor und nach uns gereinigt wurde. Hierzu bitte aktuelle Situation anfragen. Aber man hat uns genügend Handtücher und Bettwäsche für 14 Tage zur Verfügung gestellt. Küche ist voll ausgestattet, vom Kaffeelöffel bis zu diversen Mixer. Waschmaschine ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Lage: Die Villa befindet sich mittig von der Insel. Eine gute Ausgangsposition, um i alle Richtungen mal auszuschwärmen (Achillion ca. 30 Min., Korfu-Stadt ca. 20 Min., Paleokastritsa ca. 30 Min.) Kurzum: Wer es Ruhig und dennoch gut ausgestattet mag, der ist hier richtig.

Beautiful villa, swimming pool,very big, a lot of space, perfect for a family with kids, nice garden

We were 7, five adults, one child and one 6 months old baby, it was really relaxing. Kitchen is very complete. The house cleaning is well done every 2-3 days, so is the swimming pool maintenance. There is one master room in semi basement (it wasn’t precised), but finally is the best room to sleep in (very fresh). Smelly drain (canalization) is one of the inconveniences. The area of swimming pool should be refreshed, so are the bathrooms.The dishewasher doesn’t work well. The washing machine works perfectly well. The localisation is good: 10-15 Minutes by car from Dassia beach, 15minutes from Corfu town, 25 from the airport. There are 2 tasty restaurants (5 min by car) in Poulades.We enjoyed more staying at villa then driving through the island trying to find nice and comfortable beaches.

Anwesen, Pool und Haus schön.

Das Anwesen mit altem Baumbestand sowie der Pool und das Haus mit den Terrassen waren schön. Die Ausstattung der Küche sowie die Einrichtung der Schlafzimmer mit den Bädern waren gut. Was in der Küche noch verbesserungswürdig wäre (meckern auf hohem Niveau), sind die Spülmaschine (spült nicht immer richtig sauber) und das Entkalken der Kaffeemaschine (Dauer ca. 35 min.). Was uns nicht gefallen hat, ist dass in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wurde, dass das Anwesen in der Abflugschneise des Flughafens liegt. Sodass über Tag und Nacht verteilt ca. 30 bis 40 Flugzeuge über das Haus flogen. Was bei dem Steigflug schon einen gewissen Lärm verursacht (deswegen gibt es bei der Bewertung nur 4 Sterne). Desweiteren befindet sich in der Nähe ein Modellflugplatz das mit monotonen Geräuschen auch etwas störend ist.

Perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in optimaler Lage

Die Villa Kleopatra hat uns und unseren Söhnen sehr gut gefallen. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer, die sehr große Küche und nicht zuletzt der traumhaft schöne Garten mit einer Vielzahl von Olivenbäumen und dem großem Pool waren eine perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Herbsturlaub. In der Küche gab es kein Küchengerät, das fehlte. Sogar Küchenwaage und verschiedene Mixer waren vorhanden. Ebenso mehr als genügend Markentöpfe. In allen Räumen waren genügend Ablagefächer, Schränke und Regale vorhanden. Sogar ein Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen stand neben der Waschmachine. Sehr gut war auch, dass alle Fenster mit Fliegengitter ausgestattet waren. Im Garten gab es verschiedene Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Einfach perfekt. Die Lage der Villa war ebenfalls für uns grandios. Abseits vom Trubel an einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen bot die Villa den zentralen Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge. In zwei Wochen konnten wir uns in Ruhe die gesamte Insel mit Ihren sehr schönen Stränden und den pittoresken Bergdörfern ansehen.
