The location was first rate - restaurants, cafes and bars all within walking distance, shops and many other attractions and its situation on the river makes it very appealing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a funky and colourful vibe. There are spaces in the reception area to relax, read and play games. Rooms are good and reasonably spacious but could do with more storage to enable you to unpack your stuff.

The room was very small but I guess that’s to be expected in Moxy’s. It was clean. The staff was good. The location was absolutely perfect! We could walk to the city center. We did a tour to Cliffs of Moher through Paddywagons and the pick up/drop off was right around the corner from the hotel. We also two fantastic dinners just a few blocks away . . . Italian at Damirco’s and Syrian at The Four Liars.

During our group trip, we had rented multiple rooms at the hotel and were looking forward to a comfortable stay. One morning, while we were waiting for our cab and our next activity, we sat in the common area with a few breakfast sandwiches we had picked up elsewhere. Instead of feeling welcomed, we were approached by staff and told we could not eat in the common area. The interaction was abrupt and left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Given the number of rooms we had booked and the nature of our stay, this was disappointing and not the experience we expected.
