Overall great stay. Beautiful great room space. Loved the easy walk to the beach and easy drive to the restaurants in Duck. House is starting to show its age and has a few places where it could use some love

Excellent experience

The house was perfect for what we needed on this vacation. It wasn’t very warm outside, but the weather was gorgeous so having the hot tub open was a HUGE plus. The hot tub and the pool were very clean and they even had a guy come to do maintenance on it while we were out sightseeing. Towels were provided and the washer and dryer was functional, no issues. The dishwasher is super quiet which is nice. Considering how updated the appliances were in the kitchen, the coffee pot was the most heavily used and is the oldest appliance in the kitchen probably. There is a keurig, however! The bed was comfortable and there is a big jacuzzi tub in one of the rooms which my partner and I took advantage of. The beach is also a 2 minute walk away! There is a foot washing and sea shell washing station which came in handy. I personally have no complaints about this property and the house! I would definitely stay here again

Don't rent this property

Worst VRBO ever rented. Dirty and poorly maintained. 1. Windows not working and one fell when my son tried to open it 2. Screens ripped and sliding doors not working 3. Burnt logs dragged from fire place and left on deck 4. Beer cans by hot tub 5. Dirty socks and trash around pool and grounds 6. Bedding OLD and ripped and hair on comforters...gross. 7. Mold or spider eggs on ceiling. The manager told me it wasn't Mold rather spider eggs. That did not make me feel any better. 8. Mold in showers and jets in jetted tub 9. Rude property manager. He asked why I wanted the window that fell, open because it was raining. We arrived from 17 hours of driving and snow and wanted fresh air, and it wasn't raining at the time it fell open. 10. Basketball hoop broken 11. Dirty air vents 12. Broken lamps 13. Couch was so gross we covered it with blankets to sit on it No apology from property manager rep. He argued with me about my concerns. Having clean, updated bedding and fixing a few issues would not take much. Their idea of fixing the issues was to remove the sliding screens. They never brought them back. The guy didn't even attempt to fix the window that had fallen open. Driving 18 hours to find a run down, old and dirty house was really frustrating and family vacations are expensive. I have pictures to back up all of our complaints. Happy to share them. As I said, worst VRBO ever rented. Don't waste your money.

Great house!

The pool is awesome. The beach access is near where the dunes start so it feels almost private and makes it easy to avoid crowds. House is well stocked with beach and pool toys. Kitchen has everything you'd need to eat in. Great location (plan for traffic getting on the island). Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome stay!!!

This is one of the best vacation homes we've stayed in a long time. There is a 5 mins walk to beach. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub which were well maintained. Hope to return back soon.
