There was a noticeable odor as soon as you walked into the room. I initially considered requesting a move to another unit, but the smell was present in the hallway as well. It may have been related to the carpet cleaning solution, but it had a musty scent. Since we were only there for the weekend for my son’s football tournament, we mainly used the room to sleep. I would give this place a 3 out of 5 for the indoor pool and convenient location. Otherwise, I feel there are better options available for the price.

The rooms were definitely clean, but what truly stood out was the staff member overseeing the breakfast area. I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in countless hotels, yet she was by far the most cordial, friendly, and attentive staff member I’ve ever encountered. She checked on us constantly, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Hotel was beautiful and bed was comfortable however the man at check-in was absolutely rude. It was late when we checked in so doors were locked and lobby lights were turned off. Eventually doors were unlocked and we walked in and he did not want to turn the lobby lights on even when I couldn’t find my credit card. We told him several times we couldn’t see and it wasn’t until I couldn’t provide the credit card that he finally turned on the lights and continued to be very rude. Handed us the door cards and said our room was down the hall but didn’t show us which way. It was our first time here and we loved the hotel but not the service we were provided. The morning clerk was very nice and polite and we mentioned the problem to her. She said she would look into it.
