“Cowes Market Oasis” is a delightful brand new double-storey family home in Central Cowes, just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs, the central Hallway provides access to the Lounge, a Study (with 2 desks & chairs), a separate Toilet and the fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) plus its own access to the rear yard. It also flows through to the open plan Kitchen (with WIP)/Dining/Living room (with smart TV). The outdoor Living area is accessed from the Living & Dining rooms. Upstairs is Bedroom 1 with a WIR and ensuite (with bath, shower & separate toilet), Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 - each with their own WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet) and a huge Rumpus Room (with TV).
Outdoor Areas
The rear Outdoor Living area (with outdoor Lounge & coffee table) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard (with gas BBQ, table & chairs for 12 people and a firepit) which features the amazing private salt mineral swimming pool (4.4m x 10.6m, 1.34m - 1.9m deep), and a separately heated 4-person spa (2m x 2m). The Garage is not available for guests, however there is space to park one car in the driveway, and space to the side of the home (2.8m wide) for small boats, motorbikes etc and there is plenty of street parking available too.
Please note there is a security camera in the driveway. It does not view any private areas in the home.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen features a walk-in pantry and is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavaza A Modo Mio pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric 900mm oven and 900mm electric cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has zoned ducted heating & cooling available throughout. There is a firepit in the rear yard (some wood provided to get you started).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 7 beds, plus 2 day beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed) Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed) Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed)
There are also 2 x Single Day beds in the upstairs Rumpus, each suitable for 1 adult or child.
Please note that if you want the Long Single beds to be converted into King beds prior to your arrival (the mattresses zip together), we need at least one week's notice before checking in.
Long single mattress dimensions are approximately 91cm x 203cm and converted king bed dimensions are approximately 180cm x 203cm.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

The house was very clean inside when we arrived, one of the cleanest houses we have rented.The outside and the garden needed a real clean up especially the thistles and weeds.we tried to clean up the outside but didn't have tools to do this

Weekend away for 6 friends
Nice place and big. Best thing is that each bedroom has its own ensuite. Great location, 10 minute walk to beach down main street past all the shops and restaurants etc. Supermarkets nearly next door. Pool and hot tub very cool. We had a great time here and if I'm being picky all I have to mention is that the zipper beds in 3 rooms were uncomfortable when put together to make queens (main bedroom was very comfy though) and that we couldnt use the garage to park a car as it was not accessible. This was on listing but I missed it and really wanted to park off street. There is a driveway space for one and plenty on street though. No TVs in bedrooms if that's your thing. Overall, a great place and perfect for large family or group. Cheers.
