About the home
“You and Me By the Sea” is a delightful family friendly double-storey townhouse in Cowes just a stone throw (short walk) from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs inside the entry is the main bedroom which has access out to the enclosed courtyard and with built in robes and en-suite (with shower & toilet). There is also a full laundry (with clothes dryer and washing machine). Upstairs is the open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with smart tv & dvd player) which provides access out to the large balcony. Upstairs you will also find bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with built in robes) and the main bathroom (with bath, shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
The rear fully enclosed courtyard is accessed through the main bedroom. The upstairs balcony with delightful beach views is accessed from the living area and has a table with 6 Stools plus 4 Adirondack Chairs and a bbq. There is space to park one car on the premises (in the car space marked 'unit 3') with additional vehicles able to be parked on the street. Please note the garage is not for guest access. There is direct pedestrian access to the beach down a path to Lovers Walk.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Delonghi Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners; one in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room and the other in the main bedroom downstairs. There are also ceiling fans in bedrooms 1 and 2, plus one additional stand-alone fan (bedroom 3) and two heaters (bedrooms 2 & 3) which can be used where required.

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. Christmas stay
We loved the easy and close proximity to the beach. It was just a short walk to the back of the property! The boys enjoyed riding their bikes along the walking track along the beach. The shops were a short walk so we rarely had to drive. Great beach views from the balcony.

Excellent home.
We used this house for our wedding preparation with my groomsmen and then with my wife afterwards.
The house was very clean and easy to access, it had everything you could need and was close enough to main street of cowes to walk.
The beach was extremely close just as shown in the photos.
Everything was excellent and would recommend to anyone.
Thank you for letting us stay before and after our wedding and it will always be apart of our memories and wonderful day.
