This grande 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium escape offers you the best the island of Cozumel has to offer. From your terrace enjoy the magical Caribbean Sea, pools and the beach. Step out the back door and you are in the city of San Miguel; a short stroll to shops, restaurants and groceries. Local management with exceptional maid service offers personal care not offered at similar venues. If you're yearning for a change from the islands all-inclusive resorts take a serious look at what a stay with us has to offer. You will have endless opportunities and easy access to explore local shops, restaurants and culture. When you choose to 'chill' the beach is right on your terrace.

When you enter this paradise on the beach, you will be drawn to the mystic view of the palm fronds swaying in the breeze and the sun sparkling on the turquoise water. This majestic view is offered as you stand in the spacious kitchen, dining and living area. Open the sliding glass doors to the terrace and take in the sea breeze and tropical garden surroundings. On the expansive terrace you will find lounge furniture for your waterfront enjoyment. Also on the terrace are sliding glass doors leading to one of the 2 King en-suites bedrooms.

Steps lead you from your terrace to the sandy beach of your front yard. The beach offers ample chairs and grass palapas for hours of beach enjoyment. Two Piers provide onsite pickup for divers and other water excursions. Put on your snorkel gear and jump into some great Caribbean snorkeling.

The pool area is next to the beach and includes a wading pool, a large infinity pool along with a hot tub. The large patio area provides ample seating and shade. An outdoor shower and dive gear rinse tanks are located near the public restroom.

Back to your condominium, which, by the way, is affectionately named Casa de Playa. The English translation is 'Beach House'. Great place to stay while in Cozumel!

If you don't want to stay at an all inclusive resort and you like being near the downtown area, this condo is for you. With two grocery stores within close proximity ( .25 mile) you can fix you own meals when you don't feel like eating out. There is a dive shop in the resort next door that I walk to anytime I have scheduled a dive, so everything about this condo is perfect if you like low key vacations on your terms.

Wonderful!

We have stayed at many places in Cozumel (all inclusives and boutique hotels) and always talked about staying at El Cantil. Wow! Why did we wait so long! Casa de Playa was perfect for us! Condo was clean, roomy, and a few steps away from the beautiful heated infinity pool area. Location is walking distance to the many wonderful restaurants in Cozumel but if you wanted to cook ( kitchen is well stocked) there are two grocery stores just steps away. Owners provided lots of information and instruction on the best way to enjoy their island home which we appreciated very much! We plan on staying here again!

Clean condo in a fantastic location

This place is very clean. It is roomy for two adult couples. Its location on the ground floor is fantastic. It is super close to the supermarket. So close you can push your shopping cart to the condo. The back terrace has steps directly to the sandy beach area. Many restaurants are a short walk away. Housekeeping cleans the unit every other day and will do your laundry for a small additional fee. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Great condo in a fantastic location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa de Playa! Came down for Ironman Cozumel 70.3 and wanted something close to the expo and finish line. Little did we realize that the finish line was across the street from the condo. Perfect location complete with two grocery stores within two blocks! The condo was clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Our balcony had a gate with a couple of steps to the sandy area with lounge chairs, pools and hot tub. The concierge men were stationed right outside our door and they happily helped with any questions we had and hailed cabs for us when needed. We felt very safe. We loved watching the sunsets from the balcony. The owners were very responsive and the onsite management were incredibly nice and helpful. If we return to Cozumel, we hope to stay here again! Loved this property!

Perfection!

Our stay at Casa de Playa for three weeks was fantastic! The condo was clean, spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and housekeeping came three times a week and did our laundry for us when requested. The El Cantil property was beautiful, safe, close to town, right across the street from a large grocery store, and had amazing snorkeling right outside the back door, along with refreshing pools and a hot tub. Taxis are easy to catch right out front, the ferry to Playa del Carmen is a $5 taxi ride or 20-minute walk, and ScubaLuis picked us up at the El Cantil pier for our scuba diving trips, as well, so we didn't need to rent a car at all during our stay here. The sunsets also were spectacular! The owners were very responsive and the management on site was excellent. They even had welcome gifts waiting for us when we checked in. We can't wait to return to Cozumel and we would definitely stay here again!

We love everything about this property. It's location, the amenities, etc. We don't need an all-inclusive, so this condo is ideal for what we want to do and what we want to eat.

Perfect & convenient! We'll be back!

PERFECT! 1st floor, no stairs or elevators, quiet, convenient, grocery store across the street. Bars, restaurant and downtown all with in walking distance. We would take a taxi ($4-$6) to our dinner location and walk home afterwards. Pier for water pickup. Can snorkel on site, Heated pool, hot tub, sandy area with palapas for relaxing. We have been to Cozumel 7-8 times now and this is our new favorite location! We'll be back!

We had 4 adults staying together in this well appointed 2 bedroom condo. The kitchen had everything you need and then some. WIFI was excellent. Housekeeping was every other day and very well done with fresh shower and beach towels. The pools and jacuzzi were perfect temps. Nice spacious private deck. Ceiling fans throughout and very helpful concierge when taxis were needed. We were quite happy with our 10 day experience.

This condo was exactly as pictured in the listing with stunning location and ocean access. Perfect location for participating in the Ironman , walking to eat and close to two main grocers, I would book this place again in a heartbeat. Great vacation spot

The condominium is just as advertised on the VRBO website, maybe better. The owners were very helpful and prompt with any questions we had. They have furnished their kitchen extremely well. The condo staff were friendly and efficient. We encountered zero hassles during our stay. We will definitely be back here!
