2 Dudes Diving and 1 freezing cold room

Myself and one other buddy stayed 4 day weekend 4sept2025 to 7sept2025 on a diving trip. We arrived around 1500 and had a evening/night dive we had to be at for 1700 and had a few things we needed to take care of before heading that way and were not sure we were going to have enough time. But the guys at the front desk help us with everything. checked in, in literally 5 minutes, we wanted to go somewhere to rent scooters we used before but was 20 min up the road really didnt have the time, he said he had a guy that would deliver to us in 15 min with good price. The scooter ended up being delivered in 10 min and daily price was better than expected and scooters were excellent condition. The hotel has some age to it, but very well maintained and loved all the wood features. You can tell the manager takes pride in appearance. We got 2nd floor 2 full size beds balcony with garden view. We did not spend much time in the room at all we were on the go the whole trip, so all you can pray for at an older hotel such as this is a good AC, we ended up having an AC unit that must have been pulling air from antartica, It froze us out in a good way. So I give it five stars just for that. The mattresses could have been a little more comfortable but we were so tired it didnt matter. Sheet very clean changed daily, room cleaned very well, bathroom no issues. For the price, location, cleanliness, staff it is hard to beat. Also added on breakfast, its worth it, opens at 0700. good vibes

Very clean property, and quiet. The property appears pretty old but it doesn’t affect a comfortable stay. The pool is very clean, although the edges are crumbling away. For the price, the cleanliness, the location and the comfort, I really recommend the Hotel. My family and I, had a great time.

This property is old and the process of doing upgrades, but the bathrooms are open window to outside, windows do not close, so you have to close the bathroom door to keep the mosquitos out. There were 2 bugs in my bed, so I requested a new room. Tue next room was cleaner and no bugs in between the sheets this time. They said the would take the resort fees off of my bill… but they said upon checkout that they needed my card to fix a mistake on my bill and they added the resort fees to my bill last minute. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the food at their restaurant was too pricey for the quality. The hot tub was not hot, but the jets worked.

Hi Expedia Support, I recently stayed at Casa del Mar Cozumel Hotel & Dive Resort with Beach Club access included, booking confirmation Confirmation #: EXP-2250693488 . The listing promised access to a beach club, which was a major reason for my booking. However, the bridge to the beach is under construction, and access was completely blocked. Almost There, But Missing Key Details Check-in at Casa Del Mar was smooth and friendly—but no one provided any information about the property. I wasn’t told about breakfast, the beach across the street, towel locations, or how to navigate with the nearby bridge closure. The bar area lacked atmosphere—outdated TVs playing soccer and no music. It felt uninviting. A simple switch to Caribbean music and something like cucumber water in the lobby would go a long way. The menu also needs updating. It looks like something from a high school cafeteria and doesn’t reflect the quality of the food. I’ve stayed here before and know the food is good—the menu just doesn’t do it justice. That said, the room was clean and comfortable, the elevator is a great addition, and there’s plenty of parking. Casa Del Mar is close to being a standout, but it needs better communication, ambiance, and presentation to match similar hotels like Blue Angel or B Unique.
