The staff was amazing. Most of the restaurants wete closed. The buffet was always cold except for brrakfast omelets wete good. The swim up bar pool was with the kids pool and very small. Not a good idea. Rooms were clean .

The staff was amazing. It was my birthday trip and felt pampered the entire time. We even signed up for the time share (curiosity) and were asked for 90 minutes of our time and to please be honest and say yes or no, not maybe. After 4 hours and us declining every single option between 4 different people we were able to leave the sales area. Our first interaction with Daphne and Mike were very pleasant. A different women who came out after them was very different meeting unpleasant. She did not like us declining her offers.

The customer service at Dreams was excellent — the staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would especially like to recognize the following team members for their outstanding service: >Virginia, host at Ocean Restaurant — super kind, welcoming, and professional >Ocean Restaurant servers Alejandro & Miguel — attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service >Clara, assistant sommelier — amazing knowledge and great recommendations >Eugenia, bar service — always cheerful and efficient >Roberto, restaurant server (rotating) — professional and attentive >Juan Carlos, beach & pool service — beautiful decorations, incredibly hardworking, and always helpful While the service was exceptional, there were some room issues that were disappointing, and it seems that pre-arrival room checks could be improved—such as checking for non-working lights, clogged sinks, and similar details. Also, although the restaurants offer a good variety, the overall food quality could use some attention and seems to have deteriorated compared to previous stays. Overall, the employees truly made a difference in our experience. With a few improvements in room preparation, management, and food quality, this hotel has the potential to be outstanding.

The pictures online are much better than reality. The staff seemed nice at first. However, they quickly turn rude and become annoyed. The room smelled musty and moldy. The bathroom is nice and appearance, but has poor ventilation so nothing ever dries such as towels or swimsuits. The floor was dirty. They only gave us enough towels and linens for two guests even though we had three guests booked. If you call to request something, expect it to take hours. My biggest concern is the lack of hygiene and sanitation. The buffet is an absolute disaster. We became sick with food poisoning after eating dinner on the first night. There is no hand sanitizer and there is no liquid soap in the bathrooms. There is only bar soap to wash your hands with in the rooms. The counters and floors are dirty. We spent the first two full days recovering from food poisoning induced gastroenteritis. The staff tried to tell us the only way we could get medication is if we see their doctor. I explained even in the US antidiarrheal medication such as Imodium or Pepto-Bismol is available over-the-counter. They reluctantly directed me to the pharmacy at the resort next-door, where the medication cost me 50 bucks for my family to feel better. I am a physician and was able to select medications and make sure my family stay hydrated. When I brought my concerns to the front lobby, staff, they were defensive and argumentative. They also just completely lacked sympathy from one human to another. We left early.

Great property overall, but small pool, limited dining options. Do not recommend agreeing to the sales pitch. Beach is adequate, lots of rock, so bring water shoes.

Several key areas need major improvement. The food quality was very disappointing, and the entertainment options felt limited and poorly executed. The drinks did not meet expectations either, lacking both quality and consistency. Additionally, the customer service—especially when requesting a shuttle—was frustrating, and the golf cart service was unreliable, with the carts not working most of the time. Overall, these issues significantly affected the experience.

Very discouraging to arrive at resort and have no reservations. Dreams blames Expedia, Expedia blames Dreams. Resort staff could only say we have nothing for you, you need to call Expedia. Finally got worked out but resort did not seem very helpful. First room was a little dated and not fully clean so we upgraded at extra cost to better room. Only 2 restaurants opened all week, not the variety or selection we have experienced from other Dreams. Hardly any poolside activities or nighttime activities.

We liked the accessibility to Secrets. We actually ate a lot of the meals at Secrets. The pool volleyball was a lot of fun. Snorkeling was good. Lots of good beach for long walks. We will return to this resort after the renovation of Sunscape into a larger dreams/ secrets.

Since the moment we arrived to Dreams, it was a amazing experience. From the friendly greeting staff to the incredible views, Food, and shows! Its truly an amazing experience experience and can't wait to come back!
