I went alone and had the time of my life! Nicest people, very helpful, I even had to put in a small maintenance request and it was fixed that same day with a quickness. Ac worked great, food was good and the water was spectacular. Only suggestion is that they had more night life activities. The property was huge and amazing and has major potential to be even better but I had an amazing time and will for sure come back to visit! Me gusta

The Ocean/Beach is Excellent. The Waiters and House Keeping are Excellent. The Front Desk and Senior Leadership are Arrogant and Unhelpful. The Rooms are Badly Deteriorated. My Bathroom Toilet was Spilling Raw Sewage on the First Day of Staty and Hotel Guest Services Ignored Calls For Repair for 2 Days. No Refrigerator in Master Suite Room. Hotel wanted $10 Per Day to Rent a Refrigerator. Television was Not Working (No Remote Control). Air Conditioner Not Working. Requested Repair for Everyday and Nobody came to fix the AC. Room was considerably Hot and Miserable as a result. Owners of El Cozumeleno Hotel Only Care about making money and not guest comfort. Many Large Cracks and Concrete Falling from Side of Walls and Rebar Sticking Out of Concrete Pillars that Support Balcony Railings.

Third time here. Loved the staff. The facility is in need of a remodel on so many levels. The pool is great. Dining is limited. They need to throw some pretty colored paint on the concrete "ruins" next door. The main Coz grounds are nice. I will return after they remodel.

I reported the nosy air conditioner unit 3 times. Not only did it sound like a jet engine, but it kept the room freezing and the dehumidifier part did not work. All our clothes were damp They wouldn’t or couldn’t fix it.

The Good: Staff was very friendly, pleasant and efficient. The OK: The facilities are dated, which I expected from reading other reviews, but staff did an excellent job in keeping things clean. The Less Than Optimal: Poor selection of alcoholic beverages. One brand of beer. No bourbon. Nice dining room for evening meals but required reservations which filled up fast. Never saw it more than half filled which was puzzling. Maybe not enough wait staff but disappointing if you wanted to have a decent evening meal but couldn't get a reservation. Unacceptable: Our room was on the 9th floor and was plagued with no water for periods each day. When water did appear it came in spurts which drenched anyone standing next to the sink. Also, the cold water in the shower would not completely turn off so it constantly dripped. One of the two elevators was out of service for two days but there were no signs indicating this. One day the one operating elevator cycled from the first floor to between the 8th and 9th and back again numerous times even though I had hit the button for the 9th floor. I was concerned we might get trapped in the thing so decided to climb the 18 flights of stairs to the room. I was disappointed with this turn of events.

Omar and the staff are wonderful! I needed some assistance with walking and everyone was so helpful. The water is clear and gorgeous for swimming with the fish! It is a smaller beach than I’m used to and you need to get up pretty early to secure a spot. But the “regulars” are kind and welcoming. The fresh fruit was plentiful. I would return again for some sand and sunshine, but I’ll bring my own coffee when I do!

We were very unhappy with the stay at this property. Our first time in Cozumel. We have been to Mexico a few other times and had amazing vacations. The food was horrific, no entertainment. Boring and nothing to do. We ate out in town a lot. The front desk lady Fatima I think her name was, so very rude and should not work in hospitality. Pay a few more hundred and stay somewhere else

El hotel es muy viejo; puede que ese no sea el problema, el tema es que no tienen limpieza y no dan mantenimiento a ninguna de sus areas. La comida y bebidas son muy malas. El personal no está capacitado y la mayoría de ellos faltan de amabilidad y servicio al cliente

Dirty place, air conditioner doesn’t work, bathroom doesn’t work very well, especially the toilet, elevator is dusty, old, and makes sounds, also the hosters have attitude and make faces at the visitors.
