Cotentin country house

Rescue from a ruin in 2014.
Blow of heart for this house which returns from afar! We put all our savings and a lot of energy into it.
No regrets, however: we are very proud of the result!
This typical house in the north of Cotentin is located in a hamlet of three houses (including a farm), very quiet. View of the fields adjacent to the garden, and also of the sea, in the distance (Islands of Saint Marcouf, coasts of Manche and Calvados). The shops are 5 minutes by car (Quettehou). Very pretty beaches at 15 / 20mn. The prettiest are well hidden: it is a real privilege for those who know how to discover them!
Nearby: Landing beaches (Utah Beach) Saint Vaast la Hougue, Tatihou Island (UNESCO classified sites), Barfleur, Cap de la Hague, Nez de Jobourg, Cherbourg (City of the sea, submarines, Mont Saint Michel.
The accommodation consists of a large room on the ground floor: fitted and well-equipped kitchen, sofa bed (for additional sleeping 2 people), table + 6 chairs, office area, television. Large terrace facing bay window facing east, garden furniture, deckchairs, BBQ.
Upstairs, two bedrooms with double beds each + a fireside chair and a mattress (for extra beds). A bathroom (bath with shower, hairdryer) and a separate toilet. Heating: electric convectors + wood stove (wood provided): charming evenings by the fireplace!

Serene, Peaceful and Authentic French Countryside

This property is modern, well kept and clean. It is situated on a very quiet countryside road, with views of the sea and the rolling hills in the distance. It is well equipped and allows you the freedom of braaing/BBQ on the patio or cooking a big meal in the oven or on the stove. My two daughters loved running around in the massive garden or taking their scooters up and down the road. This was truly a wonderful place for a family holiday and we will be back again! The host, is a very kind gentleman, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He provided toys for my girls as well as a baby bath as this unit only had a shower. The booking process as well as the communication from the host was top notch. Thank you for a great holiday.

Un trÚs beau séjour dans une trÚs belle région

Une charmante location idĂ©alement situĂ©e pour profiter des plages de sable et des centres d'intĂ©rĂȘt du secteur. La maison comporte 3 locations et a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e avec beaucoup de soin. Le logement est bien fourni en vaisselle, draps et serviettes. La terrasse privĂ©e idĂ©alement orientĂ©e et le grand jardin sont un vrai atout. Totalement au calme, on s'endort au son des vaches normandes. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Gßte trÚs bien équipé avec une excellente literie (ce n'est pas négligeable) dans un petit hameau au calme à peu de distance de toute commodités. Il faut noter que ce gßte fait partie d'un ensemble de 3 avec terrain commun non clÎturé (important si on vient avec des animaux, il faut le savoir). De bonnes vacances, paisibles avec des lieux à découvrir à distance raisonnable. A conseiller.
