The house was very clean. The pictures were accurate. The beds were ok. The issues we had were with appliances, Internet, and communication from the owner. We did not receive check-in information until approximately two hours before the check in time. At that time, he informed us that the refrigerator was not working, but there was a mini fridge in the kitchen. We drove from out of town and if I had been aware of that earlier I would have brought a cooler from home. While I am grateful they put something in the kitchen, the mini fridge was really only useful for leftovers and some bottles of Gatorade. We couldn’t even buy milk or orange juice as they were too big to fit. We were gone a lot of the time because we were with our son at the Naval Academy for plebe parent weekend. But Sunday afternoon I planned to do work and the Internet did not work. I reached out to the owner and did not hear back for a number of hours. By the time he replied, my window of opportunity to work on my computer had passed. Later that evening we tried to watch TV and could not because the Wi-Fi was not working. This is apparently why the Internet was not working as well. The issue was not resolved before we left. I reached out after we checked out and expressed my disappointment regarding these issues. I messaged the owner twice and I never got any response. I would have appreciated at least an acknowledgment and an apology for the things that did not work properly during our stay.
