Come and visit our lakefront four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, located on beautiful Lake Greenwood with a spectacular view of a quiet, shallow water cove!

There is a dock for you to tie up your boat, pontoon, or jetski. You will have a blast cruising around the lake, swimming, or fishing in and out of our cove!

Enjoy spending time on our spacious lakefront deck with ceiling fans that create a breeze on hot days. You can sip your coffee in the morning while watching beautiful sunrises or drink a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down. We have a tiki bar, spool bar tops, and bar stools with ample seating to accommodate large groups. You can have every meal with a waterfront view if your heart desires!

Sit around a crackling bonfire at night while listening to the crickets and frogs, or indulge in some s'more making. You can soak up the peace and serenity of the beautiful stars at night and do a little star gazing. This is a perfect spot to take in all that nature has to offer!

The home is an older home but has updates throughout. It's just a short 25 minute drive to Lauren's, Clinton, and Greenwood, SC with various shops and restaurants. A few golf courses are nearby as well.

Wifi internet is available (password is located on a sign in the living room). The living room includes a flat-screen TV, couch, & love seat.

The dining area has a kitchen table with space for up to 6 people.

The kitchen includes an oven/stove combo, refrigerator with freezer and icemaker, coffee pot, and all the utensils to do any cooking or serving you desire.

A washing machine & dryer are available so that you can return home without a pile to catch up on.

Bedroom 1: King bed and a flat-screen TV. Full bathroom attached with washer & dryer.

Bedrooms 2 & 3: A queen bed each. No TVs.

Bedroom 4: Full bed. No TV. Portable A/C and space heater.

All linens are furnished and washed before each renter arrives. Towels and wash rags are provided as well. Towels are for in-home use only, so please bring your own lake towels. Bathrooms are also supplied with toilet paper.

Absolutely no pets.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house. Any evidence of smoking or vaping in the house will result in the loss of your security deposit. Ashtrays are provided on the back deck for outdoor smoking.

If you have a golf cart, bring it along with you, and ride the friendly lakefront communities.

A gas grill is provided for all your grilling needs.

Boat & jetski rentals are available at Skipper's Landing which is just a short ride away. Also within close distance is Moon's Landing & Lighthouse Landing.

The water surrounds the dock from approximately April 15th to October 31st and is typically at approximately 3 feet surrounding the dock during this time. During the fall/winter season, the water is not in our cove due to the lowering of the lake level at this time of year. There are nearby boat ramps such as Moon's Landing and Lighthouse Landing if you need to launch a boat or other watercraft vessel. DO NOT JUMP OFF THE DOCK AT ANY TIME AS THE WATER IS SHALLOW.

Please note, there are surveillance cameras located on the front and back porch to allow for reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property, while still protecting the privacy of our guests.

Family Fun

We had a great time staying at the Beard Bungalow, it was the first time I had gotten the whole family together in a long time and it was so much fun to have them all together! Thank you for the the great place to stay to make memories!

House was very clean and had everything we would need plus several extra things that we did not use, several really nice perks. The property was well kept and someone mowed the grass during our stay while we were away from the house. We had no problems while there, so no need to contact owners, but they gave us all the contact info we would need to contact them and they communicated with us prior to arriving, Would definitely stay there again.

It's Country and we like that way!!

This place is the perfect answer for anybody looking to get away from traffic and people. We enjoyed the window view from the living room with no blinds. The sun coming up in the morning is so beautiful. I do appreciate that they are smoker friendly (outdoors) on the back patio. Multiple ashtrays. Much sitting room and kinda like a tiki bar patio setting. The beds and pillows were comfortable...I'm thankful for that!

Fun in the sun with family & friends

So much fun!!! The house is very clean. Too hot to hang out on the porch or use the fire pit, but the inside was very comfortable. Appliances available and in good working order for cooking. Comfy beds! Convenient location for our family. Enjoyed Skippers floating jungle gym and the beach area. Water is shallow at the dock , not complaining, just making other guest aware. Overall it was a great time at the Beard Bungalow!!! Looking forward to another visit!!!

Great getaway!

Josh and Whitney were great to deal with and answered any questions we had immediately. Their home is beautiful and very clean and up-to-date. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has all that you will need to cook anything or any type of food. The back deck is amazing with high top bar seating for 11-12 people. Great fire pit and the back yard is large and very nice. Even though cell service wasn’t great, internet is amazing and the TV has all that you would want to watch. Even though the listing says shallow water, it is a large wide cove and it’s not too shallow to bring your boat. We had fun and would stay again tomorrow if we could. Wedding Weekend

Our son got married at Hollow Oak Farm, a venue 5 minutes away from from the house. The location for us was perfect. The house was clean, neat and the bedroom linens comforters and beds were comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was nicely stocked with anything needed. We did not walk out to the dock but we did enjoy our breakfast on the back porch. We heard and saw a lot of fish activity. A friend of ours that lives on the lake was going to come say hi ,but the cove was to shallow to get his boat to the dock. The houses are very close in the area however it was quiet. Our grandson enjoyed seeing some farm animals across the road. Josh and Whitney were great to work with!! Thank you for sharing your lake house with us!

Quiet cozy & clean bungalow on the water

Our 4 night stay was very comfortable at this very clean bungalow. Neighboring houses were vacant/not kept up but we preferred the quiet so it worked out. Nice area to ride bikes, fish on the dock, bring kayaks - the water was @ 6” low during our early April trip but you could still tie up a pontoon boat or jet skis. Fire pit was nice but no wood was provided which can probably be purchased at a convenient store. We only used 2 of the 4 bedrooms which were comfortable. Laundry area was a plus as this was the second VRBO of a long trip. Wifi worked great. Plenty of towels including for outdoors. A few minor suggestions would be lamps on the master bedroom nightstands with a plug for phone charging. None of us could get phone service but the wifi provided Audio Calling/FaceTime. A few simple products in the kitchen such as sandwich bags and plastic wrap (there was only tinfoil in the drawer) would’ve been helpful as those are items I don’t typically bring to a VRBO. An area rug at the main entrance for wiping shoes, but a broom was provided so I was able to keep it clean. There was a major issue with carpenter bees upon arrival on the porch, but Josh had someone come out that evening and 95% were gone. Many signs around the house were helpful with wifi password, how to use the oven, directions to closest stores, etc. as every home is a little different. Overall a comfortable, great stay. Great communication with Josh which was a plus!

Great birthday celebration

The house and property was perfect for my drop-in birthday splash. The house was very clean and an ample supply of towels and washcloths even though we didn’t use any due to bringing our own. The kitchen was supplied with everything needful for preparing the food. The lake was a little murky but we didn’t fish or swim everyone dropping in didn’t realize it was direct lake front. Most dropped in driving an hour away. We had fun playing cornhole and other games on the spacious lot. The tiki bar setting was a plus. Everyone inquired as to how I found this perfect spot for our need. We even used the gas grill which after contacting Josh was complimentary not having to get or replace the gas. Josh was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. A plus was he and Whitney had left me a birthday card on the counter wishing me a happy birthday. If I had cons it would be 1.the lack of roll-up blinds in the kitchen and living room. I was a little uncomfortable at night with the openness. 2. No lamps on the night stands. 3. The outdoor furniture cushions could be replaced. 4. Maybe a brief description of the neighborhood on the site. But none of these things were an issue just observation. We are looking forward to staying again. Thinking of making this our traditional September birthday getaway.

Thanksgiving Stay!!

Decided to get the whole family together for this holiday!! House was perfect for this!! We had a blast!! Clean property, great accommodations. Loved the back porch overlooking the lake!! I would do it again!!
