This is my go-to place to stay twice a year when I visit Culpeper. The courtyard is nice for walking your dog although you can't count on others to clean up after their pet but regardless, the staff has always been friendly, the rooms have been clean, and they have been working on upgrading the rooms. There are better hotels in the area, but for the price, service and upgraded rooms, I would recommend especially if you have a pet.

Didn't have breakfast, but the room was really clean, the bed was comfortable and parking and check-in were both easy. I've stayed here twice--for short stays. The price and the cleanliness make the decision to re-book easier.

We were told On check-in that there was construction directly above our room. (We arrived Friday at 4pm). They said they had no other room to move us to. We were assured there would be no construction after 5 pm or on Saturday. Construction was well after 5pm and on Saturday! We called the desk - they said they’d call us back. No call back, still construction. The room was dirty. The bathtub did not drain during the shower (lovely to have an inch of water while showering…) I would not recommend this facility ever again.

Great Room and Staff

Front Desk Attendant was super nice and inviting. Room was clean, stocked and comfortable. Courtyard was beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast hot with lots to choose from. Will stay again!

There were pubic hairs all over the bedding, without even turning down the sheets. They were in the pillowcases and even on the phone on the bedside table. The bathroom was worse and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Despite the disgusting room, the front desk attendant was lovely and very apologetic.

The hotel looks much nicer in photos. Once we checked into our room and got all of our stuff to the room, we noticed that the light in the room would not work and also there was no box in the room to even have TV. The nice girl from the front desk came up and tried to help us and ended up having to move us to a whole different room.There were a lot of rooms that were not usable. The rooms that were available were not very clean or nice! The pool was closed due to maintenance, but nothing was going on with it. Right in the middle of the summer!!! Lots of sketchy people hanging out around the rooms. Definitely will not be staying here again!!
