I have visited Cusco many times and stayed in at least a dozen different hotels. After discovering the Hilton, it’s the only place we will book in Cusco from now on. At night Cusco is quite chilly, and this hotel is the only one I’ve ever stayed in there that actually has a modern, reliable heating system. It’s spotlessly clean, only a few minutes walk from the city centre, and it has a beautiful bar with great cocktails. The showers are fantastic with good water pressure. The main selling point for me, though, is how cozy is is.

Hotel was good, but the air conditioner/ heater kept going off because it thought no one was in the room. Had to get up repeatedly through the night to activate the unit. Breakfast was great, particularly the quinoa soup! Walk down to town, but Uber back up!!

The staff, particularly the concierge, was very helpful. The hotel is great. Two things to consider about the location: 1. Though close to the main square on the map, the hotel sits on a hill which at 12,000 feet (3,700 meters) is a strenuous walk for some. 2. there is not much in the way of dining or shops in the immediate (within about 4 blocks) of the hotel. It is a short 11 minute walk to the central square though.

The hotel itself is lovely and just what you expect from a Hilton property. The location is not convenient though, on a map it looks close to the main square but it's up a very steep hill. We only stayed one night in between stops and I'm so glad we didn't stay more. It's about a 20 minute walk down the steep hill to the main square and a taxi ride (10-15 soles) back up the hotel. There are no food options around the hotel so you do have to go down. Uber is an option in Cusco as well.
