Even though the architecture is nice, the rooms design is very poor, the first room was divided in 2 stories, the bed was in the 2nd and the bathroom below, the ceiling in 2nd is very low and dangerous as well as the stair case. I hit my head with the ceiling and almost fell down from the stair, therefore I requested room change, the 2nd room, had no windows and very poor ventilation. There is only one water filter for drinking water for all the hotel and it is not big enough so we had to go outside the hotel to buy water, the breakfast is very limited and every time we request either water, glass or for instance a piece of cheese because was nothing left, the answer was, we are sorry but we don't have any more left. In addition the bed of the 2nd bedroom, was extremely soft and uncomfortable.

The biggest reason because I gave a 2-star rating is because I got multiple bug bites while asleep. I contacted the staff and they came to check it and said it was impossible because bed bugs do not live in the cold weather like Cusco. All I know is that I got bug bites all over my body. When I went to check out, instead of apologizing or comping anything, they charged me a large fee for a clear liquid stain on the duvet. I don't recall spilling anything but they showed me pics. I commented that they were supposed to clean the sheets and duvet either way so why were they charging me. The person on duty was not helpful and lacked professionalism. My niece stayed in another suite and spilled on her duvet and they did not get charged a cleaning fee. It makes me feel like I was charged extra because it was a suite. The suite was nice but lacked in some amenities which in my experience is essential for a 4-star hotel suite. Only one of the 3 curtains has blackout shades. They had soap dispensers in the shower and sink but not at the bathtub, so when I took a bath in the hot tub (with non-functional jets) I had to pour soap in a cup from the dispenser in the shower and carry it over. They have a kettle with mugs in the room but don't provide sugar or a spoon. There is also nowhere to store your clothes and didn't have a side table.They don't give you the restaurant number or menu to order room service but they do. My mother didn't like the pizza but the other dishes were good.

The room was cleaned well every day, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. My partner had some health issues and they had partner clinics that would come and check in the room at no difference in cost. They were extremely understanding and helpful. I wish our stay there had been longer. It was very close to everything you would want to be close to. I do not write reviews often, but I am writing this one because I do think this is one of the best places you can stay in Cusco.

The building is beautiful and the room was spacious. Staff was kind and the breakfast was wonderful. Not very easy to navigate if you have mobility issues. Tub has a large step up and down and breakfast is upstairs only with no elevator. No amenities such as water in the room to drink, staff wasn’t very helping in assisting us to get to airport, etc. We stayed in the Wyndham for the first part of our trip and enjoyed that experience much more.

This hotel felt quite comfortable and calm. It was a lovely oasis in the city. There are a few courtyards that were so nice to sit in. I was in a group of 9 people and many of the rooms had bathtubs that the other ladies were very happy about. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast was great where we were able to order eggs the way we wanted them done and there were choices of many other foods. We could order latte, Americano and cappuccino coffees, which were included in the breakfast. The hotel is located a short walk to the San Pedro Market, and about a 15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. It is on a side street which made it quieter, but close enough to restaurants and shops. We stayed in 3 different hotels while in Cusco, and they all had their unique great qualities. This hotel was more upscale and very comfortable.

Large comfortable room, wonderful staff. Beautiful Cusco architecture, quiet and relaxing. Peaceful gardened courtyards were you feel you are alone despite fully capacity. 14 min walk to historic region and 6 min to the city Market. We are recommending this to our friends and family.
