Beautiful lake space, privacy, canoe, kayaks, sunsets

3-levels of sleeping and living! Not just places to crash but real space to enjoy (no need to pack them in here - it's a vacation)! Lots of ways to play in the lake and the yard slopes gently to the water for more space for games and hanging out. The front entrance has a full concrete driveway with plenty of parking space and as many as 4 vehicles can be in the garage and under carports. Relaxation in this quiet cove starts on one of the many leather couches yet you can drive for dining, boat rental, or supplies in just a few minutes if you want. And, of course, the water is calling for your best cannon ball off one of the docks! Room to dock a boat or two plus jet skis and water toys. In the off season when lake level is down (October-April) you can put the kayaks and canoe in the water fromthe lakebed. Air hockey, foosball, and ping pong for indoor entertainment. Please note our checkin (4:00 pm) and checkout (10:00 am) times, but we are happy to allow a bit more time if you request it, and we don't have a quick turn. We want to do everything feasible for you to have a fantastic time!

The house was very accommodating for our family gathering of 10. Everyone had their own bedroom area (main floor, upstairs & basement). The children spent plenty of time downstairs playing foosball and air hockey while the adults spent time in the open kitchen/den area watching TV, socializing and eating. We were there for the Iron Bowl in Auburn, which was an easy 40 minute drive. I can’t say enough about the owner, Jim. We had a little hiccup with the heating system and he immediately responded and got it fixed. He kept in touch to make sure everything was OK.

This property was perfect for our very large extended family vacation! It was heavily stocked with things we may have forgot to bring, provided fun water toys and kids indoor toys, and many card games that us adults played at night time! Overall the property was very clean, minus a few minor things. We are already planning to come back to this house every year!

Wonderful time

Each year, our extended family gets together at the lake and this was our first year at this house. We had between 14-19 people at different times and the house was perfect for this. The extra living room downstairs gave us the extra elbow room we needed. And the kitchen is big enough for us to make dinners and all move around at once. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed all the water toys available. The owner was responsive when we had any questions. We would 100% stay here again.

Amazing Lake House

This lake house was amazing! It was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more! The water was beautiful and the cove was very quiet. The house accommodated my entire family and was set up so that the teens could enjoy their time on their own level while the adults hung out upstairs. The house was clean and the owner super communicative! I would highly recommend this house and would love to stay there again!

Papa Camp at the Lake

Our very large family gathered at Lake Martin for a long weekend. Perfect location for family coming from FL, TN, Atlanta, and Birmingham. Great house! Very well stocked kitchen, towels, blankets, etc. Also all the lake toys - Kayaks, floats, canoe, great space for swimming and boating. Really EVERYTHING you could need. Great place for families! Also had lots of toys, high chair and 2 pack 'n plays for the littlest ones. Loads of parking! Perfect place for a big family! Hope we can return next year!

Auburn Graduation!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!! We flew down for my daughter's graduation from Auburn. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us to hang out all together or to just have some quiet time. It's right on the lake with beautiful sunsets and kayaking and paddleboarding and the air hockey table and fooseball in the family room downstairs made for a fun time also This was one of the most relaxing vacations everyone enjoyed themselves. Jim the host was very easy to work with and his response time was very quick!! We highly recommend this house for any visit to Auburn as it was only about a 40 min trip away!

Family Christmas Gathering

What a fabulous place, even in the off season! Everyone had a private space, plenty of room for eating at the table and doing indoor activities. The two kitchen areas were wonderful to have. We even had some go canoeing in the chilly weather. Stores were conveniently located for anything we forgot to bring. Our only complaint was having to leave and rejoin the ‘outside world’! Thanks for this wonderful respite.

Great Weekend with our Family

18 of us (4 sets of adults + 10 grandchildren) spent 3 days at this lake house for campus visits and football weekend at Auburn University (War Eagle!). The house was very accommodating - plenty of space. The open kitchen and great room were perfect for us. The 40 minute drive into Auburn was easy (we came in from Memphis). The master suite is huge! Downstairs living area was also huge. Bedrooms are nice. Lake Martin Pizza is 5 minutes away. Jim is a great host. It would also be great in the summer time with boating, fishing, enjoying the lake.

Amazing property and beautiful surroundings

Such a wonderful place! Just wish we’d had more time to stay, relax and enjoy the scenery and amenities. Plenty of options for the whole family whether you enjoy having coffee and reading on the deck/screened in porch, playing games, or kayaking in the lake! Much to choose from and the house is perfect and the lake is beautiful! Will definitely book again when in the area.
