The "Oase" holiday rental is idyllically situated on the outskirts of the Eifel village of Berk, at the end of the street, and offers a panoramic view of forests and meadows surrounded by nature.

The holiday rental has been lovingly renovated and can accommodate up to four people. Whether you’re travelling alone, as a couple, or as a family—whether you’re a hiker, day-tripper, someone seeking peace and quiet, a motorcyclist, or a mountain biker—you’ve come to the right place.


An oasis of tranquility and a starting point for numerous activities

The “Oase” holiday rental serves as the perfect starting point for every imaginable activity. Located not far from the Eifel National Park, you’ll find numerous destinations well worth visiting. In addition to beautiful nature and endless hiking opportunities right on your doorstep, this snow-rich region offers two ski and tobogganing areas (Schwarzer Mann and Weißer Stein). Kronenburger Lake, with boat rentals and water play equipment, is just a 30-minute walk away. Or would you like to spend a day enjoying shows and fast-paced action? Then why not visit Phantasialand in Brühl, which is just a 40-minute drive away.

Are you an avid cyclist? In addition to numerous forest trails, you’ll find the starting point of the Kyll Bike Path at Lake Kronenburg, just 3 km away—a route that stretches approximately 125 km from Weywertz in Belgium to Trier.

Is motorsports your thing? The Nürburgring is just 50 km away—barely an hour’s drive! Would you like to attend the 24-hour race, the Lorry Grand Prix, the Classic Car Grand Prix, or a Formula 1 race—or perhaps try your hand at driving on the legendary Nordschleife yourself? Then start your adventure with us!

Even if you’d rather visit major cities but want to spend your evenings in a cosy and peaceful setting, you’ll find the perfect conditions here. Cologne, Aachen, and Trier are just an hour away. Malmedy and St. Vith in Belgium or Luxembourg are also always worth a visit and easy to reach. In the evening, you can admire the breathtaking view from the covered balcony or round out the day at the brick barbecue.

If you’d like to bring your pet, this is possible but requires prior arrangement. Due to increased cleaning costs, we charge a one-time fee of 10 euros per stay.

The holiday apartment offers two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), a living room with a pull-out sofa, a kitchen, a bathroom, and an entryway, all within 65 square metres. Do you need a cot or a high chair? Please let us know, and we’ll provide it free of charge!

Up to two parking spaces are available for you. E-bikes can, of course, be securely locked inside the house.

We offer the same rates year-round, whether you’d like to stay on the weekend, during the week, during school breaks, or on holidays. This ensures the highest possible transparency!

The cost is 80 euros per night, including bed linens and towels. There is also a one-time fee of €40.00 for final cleaning. Additionally, a lodging tax is due, which we are required to pay to the municipality of Dahlem. This tax is €2.00 per guest per night for everyone aged 14 and older; children under 14 are exempt. Please pay this tax to us in cash upon your arrival.

Berk is a village of 500 residents on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate. The apartment is located at Wilhelmstr. 29, 53949 Berk, in the last house on the street.

Coming from the direction of Cologne or Koblenz, take the Blankenheim exit off the BAB 1 and continue towards Trier until the Baasem exit. From there, you’ll reach Berk in 10 minutes.<
