Step into the second-floor great room, where you’ll feel like you’re perched among the treetops. The open-concept living area flows into a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals after a day of adventure. Unwind on the comfy full-size pullout couch with a gel foam mattress, perfect for movie nights—just bring your streaming passwords! The adjacent deck is your front-row seat to seasonal sunsets over the trees, creating the perfect ambiance after a day of hiking, wine tasting, or panning for gold. A convenient half bath completes the upstairs.

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Door. It is such a cute house and the artwork is wonderful! The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a good supply of essentials. The location was beautiful and we had several great sunsets from the upper deck. Communication with Kim was great and she was very responsive to questions. We highly recommend The Blue Door.

The house was lovely and very clean. Everything you could need was provided. The trim was beautiful. It was decorated for Christmas. There were snacks for your enjoyment. It was easy to find. The only thing I missed was a fireplace. Even an electric one would add to the ambiance. I would definitely stay here again.

Such a cute place. We loved the coffee and tea selection, it was so much more than we were expecting. I also like the bedrooms being on the first floor. The extra touch of being decorated for Christmas was also appreciated. It was very easy to find and close to town.

Wonderful Rental! We needed a pet friendly place to stay for two nights on our way to Atlanta and this rental exceeded expectations. This is a newer home that was one of the cleanest and well thought out rentals we stayed in. There were so many lovely little touches from the bowl of mini dog treats for our little old man and dog towels in the laundry room, to the snack stash and keurig pods to the well stocked kitchen - it had everything we needed from foil and ziplocs to condiments/snacks to utensils. We enjoyed being surrounded by trees and quiet and all of the windows in the house made it feel like a tree house!! An extra nice touch was all the original art. We later found the artist, Clint George, at Bleu Gallery. The owner was very accommodating and extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this rental!

Amazing Experience!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we drove away, we lived our experience at Blie Door. This house is exactly as listed, fully stocked, and even had the sweetest snacks for us and our fur babies. Kim has been the kindest hostess. She knew we were here for our daughter’s engagement pictures and even left us a personalized message on the chalkboard just inside the front door.I highly recommend this property. We still have some wedding business to take care of before the “big day,” and this is where we will be booking.Thank you, Kim, for the most amazing stay on a weekend we will never forget!

Check in process was very easy and Kim was very prompt to answer any of my questions! Kim was very accommodating and really thought of everything! Spring Break Visit

Nice little house in a quiet subdivision

Great property, excellent host, about 10 minutes from the center of town. Please note that the beds have an extra firm mattress. If that's your preference then you should be good to go. I would bring a mattress topper if you prefer a softer bed. That being said, would still highly recommend this property.
