Great stay. It is a unique and beautiful property at the heart of the old city. Easy access to most of the tourist sites. The room is perhaps a bit sparse against the price, but you're paying for the art and a great view out over the ocean.

Very Instagram friendly location with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast with an amazing view. Architecture is organic - but to hide sloppy construction, rooms are filthy with stained blankets, trickle of water in bath, stinky, and definitely use that mosquito net!

prachtig bijzonder vormgegeven hotel. vriendelijk personeel, gastvrij, mooi uitzicht, goede service, 2 kleine minpuntjes, toilet was op een verhoging geplaatst waardoor men haast moest springen om erop of af te komen, en alles was frans georiënteerd wat voor een Engels georiënteerde Europeaan niet altijd makkelijk is. beperkt aantal personeelsleden in het restaurant sprak een klein mondje Engels. Prendre une chambre avec vue sur mer, les autres chambres donnant sur un patio qui peut s'avĂ©rer bruyant.Les Ă©quipements ne sont pas tout neufs mais on apprĂ©cie le calme de cet endroit, surtout pendant les jours de semaine. Le quartier du Plateau est trĂšs calme le week end car c'est un quartier d’administrations.Piscine permettant de faire des longueurs.

Simply unique

Fabulous, uniquely designed hotel, the product of one woman's 6 years of hard work sculpting the place by hand. The walls, furniture, rooms are all designed in an architectural style that's hard to define - Neo-tropical? Beaux-Arts Moroccan? I don't know, but it's all fabulous. The manager Isabelle is a wonderful host, the Cap-Verdean barmen Jean-Marc (I think that was his name) makes his own Bissap and Bouye, the views from the terrace and pool area are stunning. Unless you want some faceless corporate hotel, this is the best place to stay in Dakar.

Prachtig hotel aan zee in Dakar

Je moet er van houden, maar prachtig over-the-top art deco hotel met schitterend zwembad en terras aan zee, vooral schitterend bij zonsondergang. Prima Libaees eten, maar rest keuken is minder. Neem wel een zeezicht kamer, is zeker extra geld waard tov patio kamer.

le grand plus de l'hĂŽtel c'est sa situation face mer, superbe, et son personnel de salle. Par contre, l'hĂŽtel est franchement trop bizarre, et le tour au dĂ©triment du confort. En ce qui me concerne, chambre cotĂ© rue, donnant sur une immense salle. Les fenĂȘtres ne filtrent aucun bruit. Il suffit que quelqu'un parle pour ĂȘtre rĂ©veillĂ©. Un essai qui ne se renouvellera pas en ce qui me concerne.
