Basic room, the shower had mildew/mold in corners and made a very loud knocking sound when using hot water, good luck with valet - I had to circle around for about 30 mins to even get in line. Once in line, I was barely acknowledged until I gave up and started unloading my luggage. The same thing happened at their bar. I waited for maybe 15 mins to even be acknowledged. The price didn’t match the value. The surrounding area is a major construction zone, very dirty, and littered with homeless on the sidewalks. I was actually followed in broad daylight. I do not recommend.

The room was clean. As in most hotel rooms, there was very low lighting which makes it difficult to put makeup on. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great.

I called the front desk 3 days prior to my hotel stay telling them that my friend would be arriving before i would and that I’d like to have the flowers I ordered from FTD placed in our room when they arrived earlier in the day. When I contacted my friend and ask if she saw the roses in the room she told me that they were not in the room. I checked FTD and they noted that “Constance” had received to rose at the front desk. I call the front desk and the night attendant said he neither saw the flowers or heard anything about them. He even checked next door at the Residence inn a they didn’t’t know anything about it. Later that night the front desk attendant must have found them and he delivered them to my friend in our room. The point is that the roses were supposed to be in the room prior to my friend arriving. The second problem was

I highly recommend the AC Marriott Downtown Dallas for anyone visiting the area. From start to finish, my experience was excellent. Upon arrival, Freydie at the front desk was both friendly and professional, making check-in smooth and welcoming. However, I made a mistake with my reservation. Thankfully, Adrian Ngalongalo was there to help. He went above and beyond to calm me down and carefully walked me through all of my options. His professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and reassuring experience. It’s rare to encounter such thoughtful service, and Adrian truly made my stay memorable. It’s comforting to know that chivalry still exists! The rooms are upscale and comfortable, offering a great place to unwind after a day out. The hotel itself has a modern, stylish feel, and everything was spotless during my stay. Overall, the AC Marriott Downtown Dallas offers excellent service, great amenities, and a fantastic location in the heart of the city. I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to others!
