The food smell is overwhelming in the lobby and hallways. Our room had a strong mildew smell. The TV remote was missing and the staff had us go back down to get one, the remote didn’t work so they finally came up to the room and confirmed the tv was broken and moved us to another room. The safety lights are awesome outside but the lights shine thru the blinds quite a bit.

The front office people were very rude, they had no coffee or snacks of any kind available, luckily there's a Whataburger right next door that had amazing friendly employees... They have no curtains in the rooms to block out light just blinds 😕 I won't be staying here EVER AGAIN... and I come to Rockwall quite a bit

Safe area and more affordable than other hotels in the area, but the beds are not comfortable at all…perhaps the worst mattresses I’ve ever seen/felt. Although my room smelled really old/mildewy, the housekeeping staff earned my stars. They do a great job of keeping the building clean.

Overall this property was nice and quiet with a great location. Missing some amenities that other hotels offer for close to same price. If looking for a budget hotel with and upgrade feel for a SHORT trip, then this place will work.
