I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6 couples. Eventually we got our room which was nice. They are trying to run a hotel with minimum staff, one girl on reception then in bar then in restaurant in the evening with a young foreign man clearing tables. The hotel was full so get more staff and run it properly and you will get good reviews.
