The Baltic Sea resort of Damp is located 16 km northeast of Eckernförde on the Schwansen peninsula, between Eckernförde Bay and the Schlei fjord. Damp is situated directly on a beautiful, 4 km long sandy beach. There is also an activity beach with games, a dog beach, and a nudist beach. Beach chairs can be rented on-site. Kiel, the capital of Schleswig-Holstein, is approximately 50 km away.

Activities nearby: Damp and the Baltic coast offer a virtually endless array of activities: Take advantage of the beautiful weather for a bike tour in Schwansen and Angeln, or enjoy a boat trip on the Schlei. The Tramm riding stable is also worth a visit. For shopping, Eckernförde is the place to go. Delight your children with a visit to the candy factory in Eckernförde, the chocolate factory in Kappeln, or the Viking Museum Haithabu in Schleswig.
