Older hotel but clean and comfortable and great location right by the marina to catch the ferry to Catalina Island! Breakfast pretty basic, beds on the hard side but ok, all in all a comfortable stay.

If at first you don’t succeed…

Room/bathroom was not clean. Front desk moved us to another room. The noise from the people next door all night long prevented us from a good nights sleep. Walls are paper thin. Will not rebook .

The staff members were very helpful, professional and friendly. However, the hotel as a whole, and the room, was dirty. This is the most important factor in a hotel other than safety, so we would not likely return.

Visiting family in area. One of the more affordable places to stay but it is a tired looking and feeling building. It served our purpose but it is not a place I would recommend to someone who is looking for a modern and attractive facility. Of course that would cost you twice as much.

The Marina Inn islocated in a beautiful area. It is sad that the property isn’t maintained as it should be, but I imagine it won’t be improved as it is scheduled to be torn down.

The room we got was dirty. Beer can and chip bag from previous people found. Room smelled mildewy. Maybe mold or dirt around sliding door. Mattress was super uncomfortable. We were told pool was heated. It was not.
