The room and hotel were great; it's just our shower was horrbile. The flip to turn the shower on keep flipping open and you basically had to hold it down to take a shower. The room was nice and meet our needs.

The hotel is in a good location, a lot of parking. The main lobby/floor is nice. The room was clean but just felt tired. The phone didn’t work, I was trying to call for more towels, they only gave us 2. The shower tub combo felt like you might fall thru the tub floor, it was soft. Overall, it was ok. Just needs a few room updates.

I was genuinely surprised by how bad this hotel was. The tub was filthy with a red orange grime on the bottom. The TV was broken. The wallpaper is coming off and it’s stained in parts (water damage?). The pool, which was a big part of why we booked this place, was closed. Every part of this hotel was a let down.

Decent place to stay, the room was fine; however, I wonder if being on the top floor along with the unconditioned air from the hallway slipping coming around the hallway door caused the room to be on the warm side despite the AC unit running nonstop set at a lower temperature. Our particular room was nice in that it was next to the back elevator, making it easy to come and go. The room refrigerator was not cooling at all when we arrived, but they did find a replacement for it after other guests checked out. It was disappointing that the pool was not open the entire week we were there. It seemed to pick up a deeper green shade as the time marched on. It would have been nice as it is in an atrium area with lovely flowers and plantings. The property seemed a full service type of property which was nice. Our floor had a nice sitting area where people staying in different rooms could gather and talk. I was disappointed that after waiting 2 days to see if the hair conditioner bottle in the shower would get refilled it took asking 2 times of the subsequent days before that issue was resolved.

This property was a premium hotel. Now it is not. Hallway carpets are stained and appear dirty. Guest rooms are barely clean, soap trays have old soap residue, the toilet has a bad flapper valve, and it would run. In the middle of my stay, for some reason, the heat/air unit was unplugged, but maintenance came up to find the problem. Bought a beer from the snack shop, but no one had a bottle opener. A la carte breakfast is passable but overpriced. This is my second time, and it will be my last.

Nicely appointed but no heat in room. Only a/c worked and it was 67 degrees in the room. Heat would not work fortunately timer on heat lamp in bathroom was stuck in on position so I left it on and ran hot water in shower until room warmed up. So sad to see Ethan Allen name on this place....lack of attention is main cause. Nobody accountable so nobody cares.

This hotel seems to have been really nice maybe when it was newer it’s definitely gone downhill. We stayed a couple years ago and it wasn’t horrible but still not as bad as this round. There was black mold and multiple areas of the hotel. My son woke up with swollen eyes, which could have been from either the detergent and the sheets or the mold. My husband saw a black mold in our shower. All of us went home sick with what seem to be like respiratory issues. The pool was not open nor was it stated on the website when booking.

The staff that checked me in was amazing. The lobby was beautiful. The hotel itself was beautiful - our room was old with paint, peeling and wallpaper, peeling and stains on the carpet. The maintenance man tried to come in our room about 1 AM because we heard the chain being pulled really loud. The tub was clogged and they thought that was a good time to come in and wake us up. We did not let him in so indeed when we took showers in the morning, our tub was filling up. Unless the rooms are updated, I would not stay here again. However, it was extremely clean on the table, tops and nightstand in the sink and shower and I was very happy with that.

I thought Ethan Allen had a reputation as a high quality brand so I'm shocked at the condition of the room we stayed in. From a dirty/stained shower/tub, to wall paper peeling at EVERY seam, shelving leaning off the wall, low quality furniture (this one might be the most shocking given their alleged furniture brand reputation) - this was a majorly disappointing stay. The reception was under staffed with only one person covering the entire time we were there. You either have to wait for reception service if anyone else is checking in/out OR if no one was physically out at the desk and you'd stand there waiting to be noticed, no bell to ring to an empty desk. There was no information on the hotel and it's offerings to be found in the room, not even a pen/pad. Had a free standing minifridge with a microwave on it which what'd you expect at a 1 star hotel - not incorporated into the furniture. Pool was closed during open hours in the middle of June. So, they might claim is a 3 or 4 star hotel but trust me it is not. The room was a 1.5 star at best. Just because some of their rooms have been renovated they're trying to pass the entire hotel off as being high star. I mentioned my concerns at check out and zero empathy was shown after I expressed how a bate and switch we'd felt had happened.

We stayed for a wedding off site. We arrived at 2:50 for 3:00 check in. Our king room was not ready. I told her we would wait the ten minutes for the room we paid for. She then offered me 2 full size beds. No! She then found a king room on the first floor. Not ideal, but it was fine. The room itself wasn't terrible, but the shower grout was gross and the tub faucet was about an inch away from the wall exposing the copper pipe. Not exactly luxury. The best part was at 9:45 am housekeeping entered the room while my husband was in his underwear brushing his teeth. I went to the front desk and the clerk proceeded to gaslight me that it was my fault I didn't use the do not disturb sign! Their policy is housekeeping is only after the second night! They had no reason to enter our room! I asked to see a manager and she said there wasn't one and she wouldn't be back until Tuesday!
