The room was clean and confortable. I booked at this hotel because it had a pool. My grandkids live in Danville and this was a way for them to spend the night with me. We were surprised that the pool was closed, and had been shut down by the health dept since 3/26/24. We were told that it'd probably be shut down for at least another month. So.....if youre booking due to the pool or hot tub, you should call first to make sure theh are back open.

I’ve stayed here before but was disappointed this time. Granted, it’s a lower cost motel but this time the room hadn’t been cleaned very well. There was hair in the sink, sticky tape on the floor, someone’s food was in the fridge and the toilet seat was ready to come off.

I had high hopes for this property, but there was issue after issue. Pool was closed, WiFi didn't work, TV was broken, room was not cleaned before our stay, bathroom was moldy, tile was broken, didn't get the rolled I ordered until almost midnight and I had to go and get it myself, towels stained, phone in room didn't even have a power cord & number to property is disconnected. I was promised by the manager of the hotel that they would get in touch with Expedia and get my room comped and that they would call me later that day....still nothing.

The place was horrible! Pool was shut down by the health department, we get to our room and the floor had mud on it like they were not even vacuumed. The place was so horrible we didn't even end up staying there we found another place the Hampton right next door, as we were checking in at the Hampton another lady walked in and she was at the baymont and left and checked in at the Hampton. I sucked up the loss of paying but never stayed

Staff was great but the tub was dirty and the fridge and freezer did not work, my frozen items melted i lost $25 in popsicles and ice cream so that was a big issue. Hotel is great besides that and please fix those issues
