Due to the destination of our humanitarian project, it was within driving distance to the site. The people were very nice. Martha, from the front desk, was very friendly and accommodating. She even taught me a few Swahilli phrases!

Allereerst is het hotel niet op 4km, maar op 13 kilometer van het vliegveld en wel aan de buitenkant van de stad, dus heel onhandig. Ten tweede begon het ontbijt om 10 uur 's ochtends Ten derde was er vanaf 10 to 6 geen stroom. Ik weet dat het een lokaal hotel is, maar in vergelijking met andere, nog goedkopere hotels die beter gelegen zijn, zijn dit echt minuten. Normaal hebben alle hotels een generator voor als de stroom uitvalt (wat bijna dagelijks wel gebeurd) Nu kwam ik uiteindelijk op het vliegveld aan met mijn telefoon en laptop bijna zonder stroom en geen papieren papertrace voor mijn ticket!
