Dartmouth is also home to the impressive Britannia Royal Naval College and, being a waterside town, Dartmouth is the ideal place to sit back and watch the boats go by.





There are some great beaches in the area, the closest being Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, which are just a 15-minute drive away. There really is so much to do in the region, from zoos to museums or, alternatively, you could just take it easy and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty right on the doorstep.
