Very Dirty

Drive from SWFL with family to go to Universal and hang out with family for a few days-My family and I checked in later in evening. We arrived to what looked to be a nice home in a gated community. House was filthy, 4 towels for a 5 bedroom 4 bath home. 2 towels in down stairs master was folded Wet. No kitchen rags or towels, no liquid soap or soap of any kind in entire house. Floors hs not been sweeped Or mopped. Pancake syrup, I assume, in kitchen floor. Stove top was disgusting. Patio doors looked to have been wiped down with a wet cloth-smeared everywhere carpets upstairs were filthy stained and had not been swept. Bed sheets were so wrinkled and beds-well there was no way I would have later my head down on the pillows. I took photos of everything on the floors. To top it all off-I tried turning on the hot water in kitchen to wipe down counter with the wet bath towel and there was NO hot water-husband checked breaker and it kept kicking breaker off. So at 9 pm we were having to drive 30 minutes out this highly traffic 2 lane road to go to Stay in a Marriott-luckily my husband is a Titanium Plus member and they were able to assist us in finding 5 hotel rooms for 2 days. I have to say owner was quick to refund me the money and it was very easy to communicate with him. If you were on a budget or had little money to spend-this would have been a nightmare for someone. Sad, this was a nice house. Owner was easy to connect with but needs a much better house manager-cleaning crew!!

When we first got to the house there was a car in the driveway and we called the property manager and then someone came to remove it. The cookware and utensils was discussing. The coffee maker had coffee grinds inside of the pot. The bedding and linen was not clean and there was no extra linens or towels to replace. No pool towels. We had to wash and dry our bath towels so the kids can dry off from the pool. The cable did not work and I called the property manager with the concerns and he apologized and said he will call the next day and we received no call back. So I messaged the owner and request a refund because it was Christmas time and it was an inconvenience for us all. The owner did say they will give a partial refund within a day and have not did so nor call us to apologize. We used VRBO in the past and never experienced this. Never again. I will be contacting VRBO management

All in the eye of the beholder

The location and property was nice the house was not cleaned properly a guy had to come over and clean the very next day after we checked in the toilets were nasty the sheets looked like they were not washed the blender in the kitchen did not work it was broken and the most important thing the Hot Tub does not get hot the guy kept saying the part would be in but it never came I was there from Monday until Friday April 5-9 the tv didn’t work only one tv got Netflix out of 7 TVs in the house don’t believe what you see in the pictures it’s all an illusion the game room all the games were broken the pool sticks were broke I thought I was being punked
