Expedia is trash……. and so was this property! Upon arrival we were told the hotel was under new management and our reservation would not be honored. We were forced to pay an additional 90.29 for a room, still have not been contacted by Expedia. Do not book with this hotel through Expedia!!!!! By the way the rooms were disgusting.

When we checked in, it was so hot outside that the room AC was struggling to cool the room down. The front desk staff moved us to another room, and it worked. Rooms were clean and newly rennovated.

Very poorly maintained property. Mentioned this to the manager at check-out and was given no answer or indication he cared. Pet fees are not accurately reported through Hotel.com. Rodeway does not abide by stated terms in the ad.

Surprised!

This room was clean and really comfortable! I was pretty surprised by how clean and comfy the room was. My only gripe would be there was no fridge or microwave in the room. But for only $60 a night I can’t complain at all!!!

Don’t waste your money

I reserved this room earlier as I was traveling and arriving late. When I array 10:03 pm the lobby was closed. The person inside was useless. Couldn’t get the room I was billed for but couldn’t use. Had to spend another hour looking for another place.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. They gave us a room that claimed to be non smoking and it smelled just like cigarettes, the place was filled with spider webs. On top of everything the hotel charged my account 335 dollars In two nights when the charge was supposed to be only $159, we even had to call the cops because they didn’t know what was going on and said they couldn’t do anything about it. After the cops they promised to refund and still 4 days later I haven’t received any refund, if you call the hotel they never have a manager to speak to and always tell you to call back later, no follow up call was ever made, an email was sent to the hotel manager and I still haven’t received a response. Terrible customer service! Don’t stay here, they will take your money and treat you very poorly!!! 👎

The condition of the room was like going back to the 1970's. Lapshade was all banged up. All kinds of marks on the walls. Carpets stained. AC not cooling the room very well. Signage posted through out about free full breakfast, but just muffins out. I can understand it being due to Covid 19 but don't advertise that you are.

I specifically chose this property because it is pet friendly and booked a room accordingly. When checking in, I asked to pay the pet deposit. Front desk staff was surprised and had to "change my room". Apparently there are "pet rooms"... welcome to foul smell, holes in carpet, and dog hair in and around the sink! The refrigerator reeked of dog smell... couldn't use it. I paid as much as others PLUS a dog fee to stay in a worse room. Unfortunately, nothing else available.

Pro:The double beds were very comfortable. Very reasonably priced hotel for a 1 night stay. Good wifi connection (free). Breakfast is good with a selection of eggs, sausage, pastries, cereals and drinks. Staff was accommodating and professional! 10 minute drive to Legoland. Con: no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage be careful walking up a flight of steps. Room (213) could use some minor TLC...chipped paint throughout room and carpet cleaning. A little noisy during late night due to traffic, but no fault of the hotel.
