Dayton Air Force Museum Getaway! Close to WPAFB, Downtown, Wright State

The best place to stay when visiting the National Air Force Museum. It's open year round, entrance is free, and you even can walk to the museum if you want :)

You will also be very close to all the Wright Patterson AFB entrances and only 5 minutes to Wright State University, only 10 minutes to the Nutter Center (for watching various shows) and Downtown Dayton - including the Oregon District, University of Dayton, Schuster Center, Miami Valley Hospital, and others. Perfect for vacation or work!

The space:

This cozy home has two bedrooms with queen beds that can sleep 2 (or 3 kids if needed) and an extra rollaway bed if you need it. The living room has a TV with local channels and Netflix and streaming TV channels via SlingTV... the other bedroom also has their own TV also with Netflix if you'd like to watch your own shows.

A DVD player and lots of DVDs are also available for your entertainment, as are various books, comic books and board games for the kids.

If you are an outdoors person, a bike lane is right in front of the home. This will connect you to the major bike lanes in town and even to other cities like Tipp City, Troy, and even to Cincinnati if you wish! (see for more information)

Areas of the home:

You have full access to the Kitchen (full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemakers, toaster, utensils) to save money by cooking your own food, as well as laundry facilities (washer and dryer in basement) if needed.

You will have a driveway to park your car in and extra parking spaces if needed at the front of the property.

Other information:

The back of the house is close to a railroad track (there is another house between us and the track) and you can sometimes hear a train coming through (sounds like rain pouring) for about 1-2 minutes .. about 3-4 times a day. Not loud enough to really disturb you, especially if watching TV. It's a pretty good experience to see the train as it goes by though.. you don't see that often nowadays.

No parties please. This is a quiet neighborhood and we'd like to keep it that way.
