The pool was out of order. The staff said it would be fixed by Saturday, June 28. It was not fixed when we left on June 29. It was an inconvenience to walk down the street to use another hotel's pool.

The Pool was shut down, did have the use of a pool 1/4 mile away. Kinda inconvenient. Area around hotel is under construction nothing really happening just all torn up roads and building lots.

The pool was closed - the area was dirty around it. The elevator was making nosies and acting up, like it was about to stop working. Also, a man was hanging out by the elevators last night when we got back from dinner and would not leave. He was 'on something' and made us feel very uncomfortable. We took the stairs and called the front desk to let them know. We also had a dried pee drop on our toilet seat when we arrived - makes me think they didn't clean the toilet after last guest left... the AC in our room worked great tho. :) our balcony door was unlocked when we arrived. There were no outlets to use our dryer and curling iron in the room.... breakfast was ok in the morning.

Had to pay for parking but not enough parking spaces available. Sunday night woken up by someone yelling by the pool @2:30 am but no one available at the front desk to deal with it and no one answers the phone number during that time. Room was decent but looked much better in the pics on website. Breakfast provided was horrible. Bed was comfortable...Overall stay was nice, but did not meet expectations for the price we paid. Probably would not stay at a best western again.

Really good

We stayed here and four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The first day one elevator was down but fixed on Monday. The elevators were small and stuffy when it was hot outside but I understand how much of a pain it would be to make them bigger. We chose not use cleaning service but everyone we met was really nice. Great location and free breakfast. Parking was different but also good. We would stay here again p.s got to see a rocket launch from our balcony

The gym was"broke" I dont know how that happens!? The doors were held open by trashcans for some reason making the hall hallway miserable. THE PARKING WAS HORRIBLE YOU HAD TO PARK YOUR CAR EARLY TO GET A SPACE IF YOU CAME IN LATE YOU WERE FORCED TO BLOCK SOMEONE IN AT STAFF DIRECTION TO DO SO! It was walkable to the boardwalk. Thats all I have!

An enjoyable stay

We had a pleasant stay for one night, and we truly appreciated the beautiful oceanfront balcony that offered stunning views of the sunrise and the ocean. The staff were incredibly friendly to assist us, when we needed. It was also lovely to have the pier and boardwalk within walking distance, adding to our enjoyment. Although the complimentary breakfast was nice, we felt it could use a bit more variety. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for at least a night, as it provided a comforting and enjoyable getaway.

This was nice in a pinch when our other room at another property got overbooked but likely would not stay again. Elevators need major overhaul, breakfast was ran poorly, parking is horrendous if you drive a truck. Rooms were fine. Staff members were nice.

The only thing I didn't like was that they took away the option for smoking on the outside balcony (I smoke and had to go downstairs(3rd floor) every time I wanted a cigarette) I understand that you want your property to be smoke-free , but please understand there are smokers like me who want the option of being able to smoke a cigarette on their outside balcony that they paid $150 for a night. Other note , breakfast was delicious! 😋

We just came back from a mini family vacation and we stayed here at the best western. When we first got to the hotel the gentlemen who helped us at the front desk was kind and quickly checked to see if our room was ready even though we were there super early around 11:30am and check in wasn't until 4pm. He pointed us to the pool and beach and said we could hang out and wait for our room and that it should be ready sooner than check in. It was, and we checked in around 2pm. Heading up to the rooms, the elevator was small and really stuffy and so were the hallways, and on the last day, 1 of the 2 elevators broke down and made the waits crazier,(the only reason I gave it an overall 4 star.) Once we got into the room, we noticed how clean everything was and it smelled fresh, the room was bright, AC was pumping, and the room had AMAZING ocean views! We were happy with the room for sure. What made it even better was the kind and helpful staff. One person I want to give a shout out to is Valrie, I hope I spelled that right. She was our housekeeper and was so kind, sweet and genuine every time we saw her. One of the days, on our way to the beach, she asked us what we were going to do and then turned around and handed my kids a boogie board, and some beach toys to play with, all with a smile. She also brought us extra towels and sheets quickly when we asked. Her customer service made our stay that much better. The breakfast was great and the staff there too! Great place to stay!

Floor/Carpet is filthy. Gave us black feet. Bed has brown spots on the bed cover. Service for extra towels, front desk said they would have some for us , just throw outside the door what has been used. 2hrs later, we had to hunt someone down cleaning the rooms. They were never notified about the need for towels. Parking is horrible. Blocking people in and front desk acting like they were not going to do anything unless you knew you were about to leave for sure. Beds are uncomfortable. Owner needs to buy better mattresses. Those cheap beds can hurt someone's back. Elevator broke. Glad you had an extra. Breakfast, scrambled eggs were sitting in water. Almost like a badly made egg soup. The rest was fine. As a former hotel manager, these come easy for me to see. I want the best for this place. Just this little bit of updates can go a long way.
