The bed was incredibly uncomfortable with a huge sag in the middle, the sheets were not plush and just stiff. We walked into the steakhouse ahead of two other parties and we were asked to wait because they had to “seat members first.” They made us feel unseen the whole time. They also nickel and dimed us. I have never had to pay for a beach chair at a resort where I’m paying a resort fee. Then the putting green was poorly maintained. The food everywhere was average. The buildings in general need better maintenance and the cleaning staff are not cleaning because the bathroom floors were black all over the resort. Only the room cleaner at the lodge looked like she was working hard. The ice maker was leaking under the carpet into our room. The lodge doors don’t close they just slam shut all night long. Lastly the hot tub was lukewarm. The property is nice but feels poorly managed and maintained.

TIme to tear it down and start over.....

We stayed in the Lodge, which is away from the main hotel and sits on the beach and golf course. The view was very nice from the room, but that is where much of anything good ends. The rooms and the facility overall is beyond dated. The carpets are disgusting, the floors dirty, and the room balconies look like they could collapse at any moment. The wood trim and soffits are completely rotted out and appear to be ready to fall off. There basically is no guest services here because it is really set up for conferences or golf events, one of which was being set up in the lobby area while we were there. There is one restaurant in the lodge area, which was fine (over-priced as one would expect at a waterfront resort). The service was very good and staff was very friendly. The bathrooms are fine and they provide "bulk" shower products, but there is no shelf in the shower large enough to put them on, so they have to go on the floor or the shower. Seems like the department pushing eco friendly cost savings ideas got the bulk product idea approved and then failed on the implementation plan. Another highly annoying thing is that they add a 3% surcharge on everything for credit card usage, but have a no cash policy in place so you have no choice anyways. Why don't you just raise your prices by another 3% if you're going to gouge every guest for 3% on everything anyways? This is charged even if you charge things to your room. Seems beyond tacky.

First of all what free breakfast? Secondly the front desk was incredibly RUDE they cried over an incidental hold saying my card was declining WHILE I WAS CURRENTLY USING IT!!! they made me stand at concierge and fix it after telling them I’ll be right back I have to go to AG to get my kids food that’s been ready for 25 mins now they refused to let me go which resulted in me having to pay for food my kids WOULD NOT EAT because it was freezing cold so paid double for dinner that night WITH THE SAME CARD THEY CLAIMED WAS DECLINING … now I paid enough money for two nights there and it still would’ve been cheaper to book a 4 night cruise for four. The staff was RUDE and out of line .. remember people this is a 4 diamond Forbes rated resort…. So shame on Forbes as well. And my SOUTH TOWER unit was visibly filthy but that was the least of my worries after humiliating me in the lobby in front of a huge group that was in house… so yeah that was nice! The director of ops and the GM have not even addressed this issue OR responded to my email. So yummy that left such a great taste in my mouth lol NOT! We had next weekend booked there as well but NATURALLY I canceled that. They don’t deserve the clientele I bring there nor my money. Shame on you HBR

From the moment we arrived, the experience at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The valet team set the tone with warm greetings and top-notch service every time we pulled up. Anton at the lobby bar was incredible — friendly, attentive, and made some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. At Delfinos Italian Chophouse, Graham provided impeccable service and made dinner feel like a true fine dining experience. Vince at the Ocean Grille was just as outstanding, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect while bringing great energy to the table. It’s rare to find a resort where everyone genuinely cares about your experience, but Hammock Beach delivers exactly that. We can’t wait to come back!

Not enough coffee. Hotel charges 3 pct on all credit cards. Confusing layout. Balcony noisy due to large a/c unit. When party checked in the a/c in room did not work. Had to change rooms. No assistance moving luggage. Main pool shut when it should have been open. Needs management.

The patio door was not able to be opened without the assistance of the engineer. The freezer had no ice— it had been turned off. The tvs did not work the first night—the picture and the sound were broken up and garbled. The second night we needed the help of the engineer again as all three tvs said “no signal”. The showers were difficult to operate without first knowing how they worked. The twin bed’s mattress was very uncomfortable. All of the outlets in the kitchen had been shut off, but we did figure out to turn them on. The room itself was lovely, really enjoyed the ocean view and we loved the pools, the beach and the restaurants! Every staff person was wonderful.
