We slept on damp sheets and used damp towels. I have been staying at hampton inns exclusively for several years, this hotel is tired. The bathroom was clean and the ocean view was amazing. The breakfast was ok. I dont like the $25 incidental fee, and its ridiculous to pay for parking on the premises. Where else are we going to park?

I booked a standard room and was pleasantly surprised to have an oceanfront view. The staff was awesome and helpful. Especially Lori who works the morning breakfast. I was told the pool was open, but no one was ever out there and the pool didn’t smell like it was properly chlorinated. The beach access has been closed for over a year because of a hurricane. People complain about the parking, but I had no trouble whatsoever. It is conveniently located to everything in the area. I will definitely stay here again.

The service depends on who you get that day. There was a gentleman who carpet cleaned the hallway and the lady at breakfast were very nice and professional. The building obviously has some issues. Our bathroom light flickered at all times as well as their lights outside. For the price the hotel is outdated and needs somw updates. I was disappointed in veral areas. Proper management and maybe they wont need to air out the hallways to make the rooms comfortable.

Housekeeping only every other day. No towel racks so they just sat in a wet pile (not knowing they only clean every other day). Patio door didn’t lock (on 8th floor!). Parking lot partially closed and charged $15 per day. Told after made reservations that beach access was closed. Elevator made horrible noise. No laundry detergent in their store. Washer charged $5 when it said $3 right on the machine. But that’s it!

The door to the balcony was very hard to open and close. Not enough area for our dog to do his business. The stairs to the beach was closed we had to walk down the street to the public access to the beach. They told us that because we booked thru you that we didn't know the stairs to the beach was closed.

So the first day I had text them about the light in the bathroom The couple days that I was there they never fixed it I also had said something to the cleaning lady about the light in the bathroom and then I had told the front desk as well nobody ever did anything the whole time I was there I feel like I should have been compensated I had to use my phone for light in the bathroom.

This place is falling a part. No where on the hotels.com description does it say that the beach access of this hotel is closed. We got to the hotel and they told us it’s closed from the hurricane. The hurricane was almost a year ago. The hot tub doesn’t work, the entire hotel is not in good condition. The staff is nice but that’s about it.

Parking at the property is an issue if you get there late, and the room, even though, that the view was spectacular needs TLC, tue balcony doors didn’t close all the way, you have to hold the door in order to lock it, the mirror was rusted and the base of the furniture detached

Rooms need updating big time. I came to breakfast at 8:30am wanting waffles. Batter was out. The attendant advised it would not be replenished. Very disappointed.

How is possible, we paid for parking and there was not access to the beach, pool without shower, no jacuzzi, no umbrellas, a disaster.
