Elevator was down to one working unit during the stay and there is always a line waiting for the elevator. But the staff was excellent and calmed everyone down. The room has great view despite showing age.

Not worth the money

The hotel needs a makeover. The rooms are in poor condition. The furniture is old and outdated. I booked oceanfront, which it was but we could step out on the balcony. It was a lookover and not a balcony. The curtains were old. The decor was awful. Bathtub was rusty. This hotel is definitely not worth the $$$. The pool overlook the parking garage. It does not have a view of the ocean like most of the places on the beach. You are definitely paying for the name because its not worth it. Valet is $50 a day. That would not have been a problem if the hotel itself was nice. The staff was great and very accommodating.

You're right on the ocean so that is really nice and convenient. However, the property really needs to be updated. Elevators didnt work, 2 out of 4 of them. Several leaks. Rooms looked aged. Staff was nice. The facility just didnt match the cost.

Several areas had signs of mold
So, not only was this a tub/shower with curtain combo but the tub itself was narrow. Stepping it and standing I can see where this could be a hazard because your feet aren't flat.

The property is very large so if you’re in the north tower which I was, prepare to do a lot of walking. Beautiful property, nice amenities. If you park there you’re forced to pay $35/$50 per night in addition to the $25/day resort fees. Cons: The elevators were not working and even after being notified, management didn’t even attempt to fix them. They were dangerous to use with one of the three actually fell several feet with people in it! My room was fine although the tv kept fritzing out (although they quickly sent maintenance to fix it. The drains in both the shower/tub & sink did not drain well. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were really nice. Alas, I won’t be returning. For a 4-star hotel and the hefty price they charge for rooms & fees I would expect better room accommodations. I’ve been to 3-star hotels that had nicer rooms.

The grossest experience ever. I will never book Hilton again. The hotel roof leaks all around the hotel, my room smelled like mold, furniture was from the Civil Rights era, the food was horrible and overpriced, the hotel staff needs training in procedures and customer service. The valet and bellhop staff are great. They should go find jobs at a more reputable establishment.

This property was a joke had to pay a hefty fee to park. Never stayed at a hotel where the guests had to pay to park. No personal coolers, so you had to buy all their over priced drinks and food. I am surprised this place didn’t charge us to breathe. No smoking but the smell of marijuana everywhere on the property would choke you. Ridiculous!!
