We love Shores Resort! We stay in a cabana room. Having the ability to walk right to the pool deck is amazing. The beach is the best walking beach we have ever been on!

Older property in good location. Customer service lacking in numerous areas (check-in, dining, etc). Don’t offer breakfast menu ($25 buffet only) despite it being shown on their website. Latte cost $7.50/per above that but not told by server when ordered. Took nearly 10 minutes to get printed copy of bill when checking out.

I didn’t like the fact they have a huge parking lot across the street and they make you pay an additional $28 a day to park in it! This is CRAZY STUPID to me! I paid thousands of dollars to stay there and you charge me to use the parking lot? That’s like McDonald’s charging me $5 for ketchup and mustard after I bought the burger and realized it didn’t have any condiments! Very Busch League! Otherwise, I did enjoy my stay. But I was on the beach! I could’ve stayed in a box and enjoyed myself.

The resort was nice enough, the not telling guests that there is going to be daily resort fee is not cool. Even when you check in they don't even tell you anything. Will never return it wasn't that good that you have to pay for daily parking and resort fee.

Surpassed my expectations

Went there for a quick trip to beach with my adult daughter. Pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the hotel was…best my expectations. The room we had was very large and the beds were one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel. The veranda was beautiful overlooking the heated pool and the ocean. They have ample chairs with scatter umbrellas over looking the ocean while you enjoy the pool. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the restaurant was very busy and the food looked amazing. Parking was very easy and plentiful (daily fee). The beach was active but not crazy like the main strip in Daytona, which we liked. Overall, excellent resort and would definitely return.

The Shores was very nice and the hotel staff was very helpful. The spa was amazing! We got the "Love is in the air" package, while a little pricey, it was amazing!! The only dislike was the Tiki Bar by the pool. While it was nice and convenient, they need to have more than one bar keep. This would not only generate more income for the resort but speed up service for guests. We will be back for sure!
