Anniversary Trip

A superb hotel in a useful location for visiting western costal areas of Belgium and the Nord Pas de Calais region. Particularly well looked after. We do recommend using the elevator as the stairs may be challenging for some.

Quiet location

Just over the border from France, a good stop if you are heading north from Clais. Quiet location, parking appears limited at first sight but the hotel will tell you where you can park if you arrive when the restaurant is busy. Staff all very friendly, welcoming and professional. Bedroom is by some standards "neat" but comfortable and clean. It is obvious that the owners are hands on and want to build and maintain a good reputation. Breakfast buffet is comperhensive and the restaurant is light and pleasant. Ate in the restaurant and would do so again. Will certainly return and recommend this 3 star hotel.

Shower was not provided with a floor mat. Therefore, the floor was very slippery and dangerous. The possibility of falls was very concerning. Washcloths would have helped as only liquid soap provided. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
