Very inexpensive room connected to the casino. Sits on top of hill away from downtown so if you want to walk around Deadwood you will have to drive and park. Tatanka is across the street which was developed by Kevin Costner to tell the story of the Bison and Native Americans.

Come here first

We moved here after staying at another facility in Lead, for one night. It was such a relief and the contrast was remarkable. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. The reception folks were all so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Our only complaint was with the blond bartender at the bar there who wouldn’t give us a simple glass of tonic without charging over $6.50 each for it. No alcohol, just tonic! Thankfully, the reception folks helped again, by sharing some coupons. But then it was mostly flat anyway, so hardly worth the trouble. The hostess at the bar, Rosemary, was super nice though- she took our order for food and called us in our room when it was ready for us to pick up, and the food was great. She also attempted to get us the tonic herself, but was unsuccessful. We would surely stay there again and recommend it to others! Bring your own tonic. ;)
