This is a nice and very charming hotel right on the beach in Deal. The property is a bit older but this only adds to the charm of the building and all modern amenities are provided. It’s also immaculate clean. Staff is really friendly and gave us great tips.

This was my 2nd time here, the views are fantastic as always. The separate bath and shower in the Smuggler’s Cabin are absolutely perfect for whichever mood you or your partner are in. Stayed 2 nights this time because 1 wasn’t enough last time. The rooms were as immaculate and the bed was so comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic suite to just relax and look out of the window and watch the sea. Brilliant High Street with lots of wonderful shops near by. Will definitely be booking again but maybe for a longer stay.

Great location and easy check in. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Only issue was the weather was bad and the wind was blowing through the windows which you could hear and feel and making the room cold. We ended up pulling the cutains which meant we lost the view. Our suite had amazing views and plenty of space for us to relax in. Check in/out was simple and reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lounge area did have damp in it, which i think is being tackled by a heating unit. We wouldve appreciated cutlery besides teaspoons, tools to wash up (plates, bowls, microwave provided and room adverised as having a kitchenette). The main bedroom didnt have a radiator, when we asked staff they advised the heater in the lounge should address the lounge and the bedroom... bit of a stretch on cold autumnal nights!

Great location on the beach front, short throw from pier and town centre. Clean room. Stayed in lighthouse suite on top floor. Great views and separate lounge (no lift and lots of stairs FYI). Car park easily accessible just out the back of premises.

First visit to Deal. Had read the reviews and found the Clarendon fully met with expectations. Great view of the sun sea and sky, not to mention the pier! Truly a great spot. Parking nearby was easy. Dining options all within a very few minutes walk. Very easy to relax and have a great time at the Clarendon. The room was very adequate, a double bed which was comfortable and a fantastic bathroom with a very good shower. Quite a few stairs to negotiate from the entrance but apart from that all good.

The room was amazing, very clean and comfortable which was a bonus as it rained, so I was more than happy to be room bound for the afternoon and evening! Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly would highly recommend.
