I answered into the lobby and there was a stale strong marijuana smell in the building. I went to the counter and rang the bell, and the guy came out from under the desk - yes it is as weird as it sounds. The motel is seriously rundown.. . Multiple humidifiers in the hallway near the rooms. The room was semi-clean however, when I moved the TV, there was a liquid underneath the TV stand . . Seriously this is what was there. I placed towels at the bottom of the door and had to keep the bathroom door. Closed to keep the marijuana smell out of the room.. My room was not smoking, and a matter of fact the entire hallway was not smoking. I do not do not do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would give it straight zeros if possible.

Good for the price

It was good for what we needed. my only review is the floor in the room could have been vacumed. We could have used a couple more hand towels and wash cloths. That being said. would stay there again if we went back to Decatur.

There wasn’t a breakfast not even coffee. All the hallways smelled like marijuana or cigarette smoke. My room was non smoking and was ok didn’t smell. Bed was comfortable, clean and the shower worked. The TV has about 5 channels. I guess for the $70 I paid I didn’t have to big of expectations. The guy at check in was friendly. But didn’t see any other staff after that.
