Thank you Hampton in Decatur

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton in Decatur after a 3 Hour Dr. from Chicago. It was greeted by a very pleasant young lady named Jasmine. She quickly checked me in and informed me that there was a Free shuttle for the concert I was attending that night. That was a pleasant surprise. The room was perfect; clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. I didn’t get the name of the shuttle driver, but she was so nice. On our return, she was curious about our concert experience and was offering ideas about where to get a late night bite to eat. Very comfortable night sleep and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Again, I did not get her name, but the woman that was attending. The breakfast buffet was so engaging & helpful. Beth checked me out very efficiently, apologized for your renovation construction, and also was very pleasant and helpful. Kudos to your fabulous staff : Jasmine, Beth, shuttle driver and buffet attendant. I have told many people about my wonderful experience at the Devon and the Hampton Inn. I will definitely be returning. Look forward to seeing all of you again. Thank you, Karen Bromberger.

Our door was broken and would not lock, we came down for a family wedding from indiana, and was not able to go due to the fact that the hotel was sold out except for one room which was a king and would not fit all of us. We had to sleep with the latch lock on our door and that was all and did not feel safe in his hotel! So we drove for 5 hours to come to a wedding that we were not able to go due to not being able to leave the room because it would not lock

Hotel was super great will go back to this hotel again and continusly in the future. But what I didn't like was in the pool area it felt hot and no chlorine in the skimmer baskets. Put pop in the little fridge in our room and it froze on us couldn't drink it. Having a shuttle to Devon amphitheater is nice too.

Friendly, Clean, and Great for Families

Was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who offered complimentary waters. Hotel and room smelled fresh and new. Market in lobby was well-stocked with a thoughtful variety of snacks and drinks. Breakfast open until 10 and breakfast attendant was friendly, attentive, and kept the space clean and well-stocked. Received a friendly goodbye on the way out (seemingly a rarity these days!). Was a great stop for my family.
